@pmac76418 ай бұрын
Feels like you should probably pick one side or the other and take your chances with the pitcher fielding anything up the middle, no? I think the only advantage is on a sharply hit ball up the middle because the 2nd fielder would have more time to react, but I don't think that outweighs the benefit of taking an entire side of the field away.
@jcrazy90088 ай бұрын
I've said this before more often balls are hit in the corner so idk why Dan plays up the middle he's never made a play there

Seen a bunch of fielders in that position this tournament, find it very confusing, being behind your pitcher seems like the ONE place you absolutely don't want to field. There was even one very fieldable ground ball where the fielder said after he couldn't see it off the bat because the pitcher was in the way so he was late moving (memory is failing me who it was). Would love to know the thought process for it, they must have some reason.

Fantastic tournament, well done to the whole team and thank you for putting on a great show. Stoner was a treat to watch, lovely to see the fruits of his labour. There is no injustice in either he or Knorp winning MVP, both deserve it and should be celebrated.
