This was great, so many people go immediately to Amazon instead of the FREE local library.

I lived in Guernsey for many years, and my sister-in-law is a plein air landscape artist there. Love that you mention Guernsey 🇬🇬 and Jersey 🇯🇪

Thanks for the book overviews. By the way in one of Jean Haynes videos she mentions that the reason she squeezes out a blob of paint in her dancing ladies “trial” is that she then uses those to paint with.

Love that you had the books from the library! I’m trying to create a list that will lead me to purchase books , I love holding. Reading and making my own marks in a book I own! Thanks for sharing, Karen Dirmish, learner

OMG, you’re hilarious with your commentary and the use of the word, ’interesting’… 😂😃🤣👍🏾 New subbie here, loved your flip through of your library books, very informative. I personally have Dana Fox’s and ‘Yes!’, you can paint in her work book with great practice watercolor sized paper. I love her ‘Watercolor With Me - In the Forest’ book… You’re on point that watercoloring and collecting watercolor items are two entirely different hobbies!! 😂😃👍🏾 Thank you for posting this vid!! 🥰🤩😃👍🏾 Now to binge watch your other vids… another hobby!! 😃😂🤣👋🏾✌🏾 As per libraries, apart from local and state budgets, and philanthropic groups like ‘Friends of the Library’, They lost ‘book fines’ as a revenue source, during the pandemic, also for inequity issues. I love my local libraries.. The Dove rocks!! The Dublin Library has that old book smell… ah!!

Thank you! The first 3 books looked like some I'd want. Like you, I like learning from watching tutorials. You mentioned painting buildings in London or England, Liz Chaderton, Paul Clark and Karen Rice are good to watch. On using a fan brush Emma J Lefebvre just did a short video on that. She also put out a video showing how to get colors by mixing the ones you have about 7 mos ago. You can look through all her videos, she has a lot of good ones. So does Ellen Crimi-Trent. A new person I just started watching is Shana Circe. She does like a folk art style.

I tried to visit all 42 libraries in our system with my daughter when she was young. We got through 30 some. Some were just too small and too far, some seemed like they were in scary areas, so we never finished. I go weekly to pick up my big stack of books on hold. 😂

Appreciate flipping through all those books! I've had this sitting in a playlist for the longest time and finally watched it. 😅 Only recently started watercoloring and have a much better idea of which books to acquire then a year or however long ago. My nearest libraries are both downtown and a pain to get to but I'm still going to bug my s. o. about it cause I gotta know what art books there are here. lol

**searches watercolor books** **sees title** 16 books! Hell to the yeah, that’s what I wanna see! **click** **edit** Ok, 7 of these books I hadn’t seen/heard about and 2 of them I now want.... Definitely the 600 W/C Mixes and maybe the Celestial one, so thank you! BTW, my fave 3 books I’ve bought out of the 30 or so recently are Danielle Donaldson’s “The Art of Creative Watercolor”, beautiful book! And Anna Koliadych’s 2 books on Gouache and W/C are amazing too!
