Best fun I ever had as a kid/teen was when my dad got a VW bug and chopped it to look like a Baja. Back then, late 70s early 80s he just cut the fenders added long exhaust big tires on the rear and just tuned up the engine nothing special but boy did we have fun. These cars remind me of that. I used those CNC cutting brakes as a base when I designed the cutting/turning brakes on my teams mini Baja car in college. Usually for a right hand installation you’d want the housing hooked up such that you pull back for a right hand turn and push forward for a left hand turn. Meshes a little better with how you the Gs push your body around.

Not sure about that 5 cylinder part lol Most available turbo diesels are 4 or 6 cylinders except the outrageously cool and limited v10.... but a well tuned TDI is a fantastic option
