Buddy of mine had one of these back in the early 2000's. Had a slightly larger turbo, had removed all badging and had fitted a hood from a regular Celica so it was fairly stealth. He would regularly show up to local street races where it was mainly comprised of muscle cars and a few imports. The muscle car guys had absolutely no clue what it was even it had all the badging and hood. The import guys were aware of the GT four but they were rare enough that they would not even think that it was a GT four in disguise. Car upset quite a few muscle car guys.

The ST165 Celica has some of the best AWD handling despite having a very primitive AWD system. Mine cornered as if on rails. You need to get hold of the period correct OZ roulette wheels for them too.

The 185 has the same drivetrain, unless it's a CS which has an LSD and different gearing.
@AbhishekSharma-sc7ki2 жыл бұрын
@@boostgoober7262 the 165 feels more nimble, maybe a weight distribution or suspension thing. I did the bushings and sway bar as well as nice extended travel coilovers so that certainly played a part.
