when the m6 drifter said 2JZ more affordable, maybe because toyota especially japanese cars is huge market in indonesia so it's not really hard to maintenance rather than europe engines.

it is. lots of 2jz are still around because it was officially sold here as a Toyota crown for a long period (late 90's to early 2000's) so, there's a lot of spare parts or even a donor engine to play around

It's basically the suburb of Jakarta, not the city center. There is another drift track ACTUALLY located in the middle of the city, in Kemayoran (JI Expo).

They probably used a 2JZ-GE from a Toyota Crown instead of a GTE, which might be why he said it's more affordable. There's a lot of those in Indonesia because they were used as high-class taxi.

Nope, they use a 2JZ GTE and it has nothing related to Crown taxis because there is no Crown Comfort on a 2JZ, even the GE version

@@aquaboy1650 Specifically for Indonesia in 1995 to 2000 they sold the 8th gen Crown Royal Saloon with the 3 liter 2JZ-GE. Besides, the GTE is just a turbocharged GE, most of the running components are the same.

@@Abelion_Jayakerto i heard a lot of people from Europe and States said if you're not come from a wealthy family, you can only afford cheap Honda or other cheap four bangers front wheel drive car. Even if you live in Korea or Japan, you can't afford any vehicle if you're not wealth enough and just using mass transportation as daily commuter. Yeah, racing in cars is not cheap even if you live in first world country, especially with a 2 doors 200+ hp car like the guys in this video.
