Where can I buy a replacement motor? The bearing in one of them has a small amount of play and I doubt I can replace just the bearing. Super good job on the video by the way. 👍

According to the parts list in the owner's manual, the part number for the left motor is 36101486 (superseded by 36101486B), and the part number for the right motor is 36101486C. I saw a used right motor on eBay, but new right motors seem to be out of stock everywhere else. Thanks for checking out the video!

@@DIYApprentice Will these motors run in reverse? Albeit, more a safety issue without some sort of maybe hole drilled in the shaft and cotter pin to lock?

Is there a particular point in the video where you're having trouble seeing? This is a relative's mower, so I don't readily have access to it. Not sure if you're watching it on a phone, but you may want to try a PC monitor or a TV.

The newer version of the 25302 no longer has the red key and the switch mechanism is now near the handle, Easier to work on the switch and it is a little different setup, but once again easily fixed.

I have the same model mower and it won’t start as well! I may try this step by step to see if it fixes it, cuz I don’t think I hear the click of the starter.

Yeah, I played with this mower a couple times until I finally noticed there was no click. 😀

Its easier to bend the lever of the handle safety switch

One of the blades would not spin. The mower would start but then shut off because I assumed that the stuck blade would not allow it to stay on. I turned the mower on its side and sprayed the blade and on cooper section of the motor which is visible if you turn it over with WD40. The blade spins great but now the mower won't even start up. Did I mess up the motor by spraying it or oversaturating it with wd40?

It's possible that the WD-40 is causing contact issues. I would consider using 91% alcohol or electronic cleaner and some q-tips to clean the motor.

Yes, I showed it working at the beginning of the video then I showed how I fixed it. It has been working fine since I adjusted it.

I've had the 25302 since May 2014. My 2ah battery that came with it gave up so I ordered a new 5ah battery... and it doesn't work. The 5ah will run the mower for a second then cut out. Greenworks mailed a replacement battery that does the same. It turns out the 25302 isn't compatible with the new style 40v "gmax" batteries. They fully admit they're abandoning this mower for support, but they still sell it new on their amazon store AND the 25302 is pictured as compatible. >
