After watching Duarte on my Pacers this year, I was laughing when you said Duarte at the end. I was thinking the same thing, like Duarte with better defense and less shooting. But he's built like him, has that fire inside like him and they both make some questionable drives. Though with Duarte I think it's his inability to use his left. But similar in many ways, even if for different reasons.

I feel like he has potential to be a star if he improves his three point shooting, playmaking, and finishing. But I just don't think he's good enough in those areas to be a primary/secondary option any time soon, so he's probably more likely to wind up being a role player. Does make me a little worried that he could end up being a bit of a bust if his three pointer doesn't come around, as it's hard to fit a non floor spacing guard into a modern NBA rotation. Assuming he doesn't blossom into a star, I think Josh Hart is a realistic best case scenario as a role player but I do worry about Davis. I think he might be a bit overrated in this draft. Feels like a guy that would have thrived in the 80s-2000s but could have a tough time cracking a modern rotation

@@cookingwitchefzayy8830 I think my prob is that I bring the coach into my decisions. Thib’s will be qwik to bury a kid because he’s unable to figure out how to use him. If someone came to me and said “Bx, would you move D. Rose in a deal to draft this kid”, I’d say absolutely! Without a doubt, but Thib’s would lose his shit if that were to happen. Even though, for our long term success it would be the sensible move. But no other GM would make that deal, so I have to move one of them. You could say move Reddish, but I’m not moving him unless I’m looking to secure a legit SF/PF (K. Murray, Sochan). Honestly, the SG wing position, to me is the easiest position to fill nowadays. He seems as league ready as anybody in this draft. He has every move on offense. I haven't seen him use a hop step but he's got the stop and pop. He'll drive to the basket, behind the back, he goes left and right. He's got a floater and a fall away jumper. I mean that's a lot at his age. He's been working hard you can tell. He'll likely replace Beal after Beal requests a trade this year or next.
