Don't break up pleaseeeeeeeee. Everyone makes mistakes, as long as you learn from them there is forgiveness. 2020 couldn't get any worse.

What happened?

Allegations against the drummer on the ep, tape 3, and routines. He left after routines so he was never touring after routines I'm pretty sure. So he was a ex member even before they broke up so idk.

@@Troman16 they basically covered it up, as in they didnt act on it and the abus3r stayed in the band. but they werent active participants, as in the rest of the band are not abus3rs. that guy is done for. as for the rest of the band, what they did (as in not acting on time) was bad, but not the kind of bad that makes them deserving of lifetime cancellation. as stated above, there is forgiveness if you learn, and cancelling themselves was part of showing that they learned it was wrong - aside of losing their label and basically the career they were having at the time. but for the world to forgive them and regain trust would take more time out of the radar. there are bands that have done worse on similar situations, like real estate with matt mondanile, and that guy is still putting out music. public instagram and everything. and real estate never broke up. surely a lot of people turned their backs on him or the band forever, but they go on with the lot that forgives, and as time passes i see society evolving from pure cancellation to stories of forgiveness like these. people can change and deserve second chances. im not talking about r44p 3ists of course. i want to believe hoops and drew auscherman need more time out before coming back as something different, maybe not together again, but playing music again, performing, living that life again, because they deserve it, they deserve the forgiveness, to learn from mistakes and move on. i am speaking not as a fan but as a person. punitivism is over, that binary way of thinking identities as good/wrong. good people fuck up sometimes, that dont make them bad people. guilting people to death (in the widest sense of the word) isn't a solution. i wanna say i know the story (from what i've gathered) and i respect hoops for recognizing their mistake and learn from it. also as a fan i fucking love hoops. i trust time will give the opportunity for them to regain the confidence and the bravery to step back out again into the world, because to come back out is brave, to not hide your mistakes, but having faced them and keep Going Strong.
