Delightful as always Hoop Smiles! For anyone having trouble getting started with hand hooping, I usually recommend moving your hand like you're bouncing a basketball. When the hoop lands in your palm, that's when you want to bounce it back down. 😁

Hi, How are you? Great videos. I learnt hooping in 5 days with a weighted 1 kg hula hoop. Can I use this same hoop to learn hand tricks or are weighted hoops not recommended for tricks? Thank you
@hoopsmiles3 жыл бұрын
I mean you could, but I wouldn't recommend it. Even as a pro myself, my hand will get sore using a super light hoop around the hands if I do it long enough.

www.hoopempire.com/products/weighted-dance-hoops These dance hula hoops weigh in at approximately 450 grams making them a slightly weighted experience ~ not too heavy, not too light! thats the one I use.. its perfect.. I recently got a mini hoop. not sure how light it is but its super hard to keep around my waist Ill just useit to try more hand tricks for now :)
@Gemzstone1 Жыл бұрын
My hand just won't end up in the right position on the weaves when you cross the hoop over the body. I've always struggled with this one.
@mynameissomeone66994 жыл бұрын
I have tried too many times but m not able to lift the Hoola Hoop up. ☹️ Whenever I try inserting my hand while ring moving, the ring falls down instead of getting lifted up.. 😢
@hoopsmiles4 жыл бұрын
Not quite sure what part of the trick you are having trouble at, are you referring to the part where you grab the hoop on your back? Or are you talking about once you have already lifted the hoop?
@shamshersingh50324 жыл бұрын
What is the price of hula hoop ,i also want to buy please tell me
@lindabeebe70654 жыл бұрын
I couldn’t do it either, “until” I saw a woman do it by lifting it up from her side more instead of the small of her back. I have shoulder problems with developing arthritis. When I didn’t worry about going to the small of my back with my hand, it happened. It doesn’t take anything away from the trick. My non hooping friends are all so impressed with this one! So you may try it without reaching all the way around. Happy hooping!

Which hula hoop we should use?
@hoopsmiles3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I don't give hoop recommendations anymore unless I'm able to see the person try hoops. There is no one hoop that works for everyone, as there is so many factors involved. But typically for hand hooping, smaller lighter hoops often fit people better for the hands.
