That defensive effort is my biggest complaint about his game, but I’m really excited to see him ball out at Auburn.

I guarantee that you will not see that poor effort on defense at Auburn. Coach Pearl has been hesitant to play certain players because he felt they were not ready defensively. The next level will also require a next level of work. Sharife knows this. He will get there ready to work.
@iviake32414 жыл бұрын
The reason why he averages so many assists is because of chemistry. He’s been playing with those guys, especially Isaac Okoro since he was little. It’s just different now because all of them left. Remember Sharife plays 17U at 15 and not everyone got on varsity their freshman/sophomore year Sharife just had special talent. So he’s forced to adapt to new teammates being the youngest on the team originally but now having to set up these new people to score. Even though it might be a little selfish, I don’t blame him for the bigger scoring role and less assists. And idk why I wrote a whole paragraph I just like analyzing Sharife Cooper lol

Cynthia Wright I’m not talking about specific attributes I’m speaking as a point guard attitude mannerisms IQ decision making ability to break down defenders and energy on court. Even on attributes rife is quite strong and kinda athletic for his height his athleticism reminds me of dame. Even his dribble moves/package reminds me of dame, the only difference is the shooting and rife has even shown potential to be a great 3 point shooter from deep

He reminds me a of Damian Lillard with how he changes speeds and gets to the bucket and Chris Paul with his passing ability. One area I would like to see improvement is his defense. But he's still maturing as a player and getting better. A lot of players have talent but not many have that dog in em. Rife definitely has enough dog in em to beat the odds and prove the doubters wrong.

I would love and hate playing a guy like rife (if that made sense) rife might cook me on offense (but i doubt it because he is too relaxed on offense and I’m an aggressive defender) but I’m gonna go at him when I’m on offense because that gonna be an easy 20-25 points. Not tryna sound like a hater,sharife is very good and is my favorite HS point guard. The only thing he really need to improve is his athleticism and defense other than that h should be good. Player comparison: I see a mix of Damian Lillard and a prime Chris Paul
@iviake32414 жыл бұрын
Herbert Martin He can be too cool on offense sometimes but he’s always poised and calm when playmaking, and doesn’t let any type of defense rush him that’s one thing I notice about him. You can be aggressive on defense he’s still gonna find a way to score. I don’t know much about you but I’m guessing your a 5 footer. He might let a few buckets (Like 4 - 8 PTS, NOT 20) slide but after that it’s not gonna be so easy to score on him. Sharife is a whole 5 ⭐️ point guard don’t sleep on him too.

Rife is my favorite PG in this class but i can see where concerns come in about his game. In my opinion i think he will have a Trae young type year in college not in terms of stats but in terms of them both coming in with worries about their height and just surprised everyone. I think he’ll average 16-18p 6a 3r at best and 12p 6a 3r at the lowest💯but i wish him the best because I really think he is talented
