Japanese lyrics goes like this. 1. Long time had passed by unnoticed since I had deeply devoted myself to study under pale light of the firefly in summer and reflection of snow in winter. At last time has come over for me this morning to leave the old acquaintance. I step forward opening cedar gates of school. 2. There are both acquaintance who will stay in hometown and who will leave hometown. We are afraid it is the last moment to see each other. At our hearts, we have thousands words wanting to say. However we manage to say only one word for thousands. "Adieu. Good luck".
