About 28 years ago I went there...walked inside the church and saw the hole with the holy dirt...I actually tripped and fell and some of the dirt got on the shin of my leg. Ever since then I've never had any pain in that leg like I used to!! True story.

Apolonio Medina is my grandfather. My dad was only 3yo when he died. My uncle Ramon and his wife are buried on the other side and my great-grandmother is also buried at the Santo Nino church.

So “rub some dirt on it” isn’t just a myth that some grumpy coach yells at a kid! Cool little town that I was not familiar with. Love all of the statues and impressive that people will walk so far on pilgrimages there.

@@stephaniezarate1231 Hello Stephanie. Thank you for your questions and prayers. I’m sad to tell you that my father passed away on 8/5/2023. He’s in a better place now. I still believe in the holy dirt and it’s powers.

Nicely Done! Wonderful place ,had some friends come back from there, with their Mother who is in her 80's some Stupid Doctor @ Mountain View Hospital in Cruces where they are all from told her to basically go home and get ready to Die 😱 I was furious when i heard this I told my friend who in the Hell does she think she is, I said she isn't GOD she doesn't know CRAP excuse my words LORD ,she had given her a Month or two! Yes their Mother had cancer all over !! But she was still strong they took her to another Doctor in AZ that Doc said that the Doctor in Cruces should have never said that ,so yes they started Chemo but they came to Chimayo got Back 2 days ago they rubbed that dirt on her she had a Doctor appointment yesterday and behold the Doctor said that she was being healed even in her bones !! Hmm I know it's their FAITH that's HEALING her God allows methods to work but it sure is fast being she had Cancer all over her body!!! Please refer to MOTHER MARY as The (BLESSED MOTHER) ALL NATIONS SHALL CALL HER BLESSED ! AND SHE SAYS IF YOU CALL HER BLESSED YOU WILL BE BLESSED !!🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌
