This song is about loving someone who has an addiction. Realizing he cant save her.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s, so when the 90s came in, I had a hard time with the change in music, Hootie And The Blowfish was one of those bands that got me through the 90s, there isn’t a bad song on this album.

These guys were a band in college, and then outbof nowhere they hear Darius singing in his room down the hall and were as blown away as the rest of us were when we first heard him. Talk about some luck.

I grew up listening to 60s and 70s classic rock because 80s MTV era music was so radically different from what came before. So I skipped the 80s when it came to music. When the 90s began, some music started to return to classic rock roots. That's what this song immediately reminded me of at the time, music was finally beginning to sound like real music again. This song *sounds* like classic rock. The story, the chorus, the vibe, the guitar solo, real instruments, it's classic rock. Classic rock was finally back 👍😎

Darius is singing about what every man in the world feels when he’s going through a difficult breakup. He’s on point.

Holy smokes, Lizzy, I guess I believe in coincidences!! This is one of the tracks I've been rehearsing in preparation for my first studio recording session! I had a bad fallout with my baby girl, and I'm working on a 3 or 4 song playlist to remind her that I love her very much. I'm also fighting cancer, and I guess I hear a clock ticking over my head, so this is kind of a "legacy" project for me to leave one of the best parts of me behind. Your audio was FANTASTIC on this one, superb upload! And, as usual, your reaction was interesting, good comments. I'd like to add my suggestion that you'd enjoy "Hold My Hand," also by Hootie andthe Blowfish. Stay well and keep smiling. 😇🌹🙏

Darius Rucker has one of the best voices in music . I'd love to hear him & Sebastian Bach do a song together . Now I don't know if you've ever done a reaction to the band that I'm putting at the end of this video but they are the greatest band ever . Let me give you a little background on the . They formed in 1976 & put out their first album with only 5 songs on it in 1977 . By 1978 one of the original band members left & even though most of the bands average age was 18 , they hired a 15 year old to replace the member that left . Every album that they put out was getting bigger . Then in late 1983 they released their biggest album to date called Pyromaina . It reached all the way to being the #2 album in the world by 1984 . After doing a 9 month tour promoting the album , they went straight back to the studio recording their next album called Hysteria . While taking a holiday break from recording their Hysteria album . The youngest member of the band & his girlfriend at the time took a drive in a Corvette that he had bought . On December 31st 1984 he rolled the car & had a near fatal car wreck . This is where the band becomes the greatest band ever because instead of replacing him & finishing the album that they were working on & going back out on tour , they decided to walk away from music until he could rejoin the band or until he came to the rest of the band & told them to replace him . After 3 & a half years they finally released the album called Hysteria & it's one of the greatest selling albums of all time & it still holds 2 records today . Record #1 out of the 11 or 12 songs on the album . It had 7 singles & all 7 singles were on Billboard's top 100 count down . Record #2 from August of 1987 through October of 1988 out of those 7 singles , 6 were in the top 10 The song that I'm putting at the end of this comment is one of the songs that was at #4 . During the guitar solo you:ll get a good look at the member that had the car wreck & you'll see what happened to him in that wreck . I hope you enjoy it . kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5SpgYhjYtupnJIsi=Qt6Mp9fBInJkKUUt

If you're still in the 90s, check out BoDeans. Their most successful song, Closer to Free, was from the TV show, Party of 5. Other 90s songs to listen to are True Devotion, Black White and Blood Red, Going Home, Hurt by Love and my favorite, Naked. If you react to Naked, choose a live performance from the 90s or before 2014, anyways. When live, Sam Llanas strips it down to acoustic and his voice, and slows it down. Much better than studio version.

I'm your Mexican friend, in Cali! I'm hoping ud be the FIRST, in 3 yrs of fairly consistent, request for a reaction to. A pioneer of Mexican rappers! Kid Frost, Ain't No Sunshine... He's a cholo who raps! It's gangster, but it's a message, to the youth, living in the ghetto. Thank you🙂

I still hate myself a lot of times, because I broke up with the only girlfriend I've ever had in my life freshman year because I was transferring to a different school the next year. I'm 32 and still want to be with her. I just have too good of a memory, at times that can be a good thing.
