Thank you! This helped so much. Can't wait to test it out in 48 hours (waiting for adhesive to cure)

Mine started having an issue also where it would suck up water when pushing forward but when pulling back towards you, it would leave a heavy trail of water. I took mine apart like you did and turns out I have the exact same problem. Thank you so much! I even contacted Tineco and they didn’t say anything about this being a possibility!

Saw someone say you can use dishwasher tube. Cut to 6 inches. And glued back on

Tried removing the screws and pulling the housing from the top, and the lower assembly snapped like a twig. Not sure what type of sorcery you used to pull the top off, but bravo, because it didn't work for me

Thank you for putting this info out there, just a question after removing the damaged tube from the head and vacuum, how did you screw in the new hose on the vacuum side, just by feel, with the glue on prior?, I can’t see very much up that end, Well thank you again, there are a lot of these units in Australia and info is hard to get from Tineco. Best wishes.

I think I practiced screwing the hose in to see how it felt. Then once I was ready, I applied the adhesive and screwed it in. Best of luck!

Thanks for sharing. How do you get the old broken tube out of the vacuum unit ?
@hoovejd11 ай бұрын
Since the tube is "glued" in I had to forcefully pull it out.

I cant get the top off to get into the vaccum to see whats wrong. How did you do it?

Watch at 3:49 of the video, it explains the screws you need to remove.

Awesome video! Have the same problem.... I would like to know how you did get the tube inside the vacuum side? Did you just put caulk around the tube, put in in and hoped that it has a good seal? ^^
@hoovejd10 ай бұрын
Yeah pretty much. It is threaded so the tube will "screw" in. The caulk should help seal it. So far my repair is working well.

My question is how did you get it out from the vacuum side? Just pulled it off (unscrewed)?
@hoovejd7 ай бұрын
@@alexanderpak3817 yes that is right, I unscrewed and pulled.
