The cleaning path looks pretty small this machine seems to be more suited to spotted cleaning at a high price tag

After a short while this machine will probably get all the regular Hoover sales, right now they have 20% off other machines. But for over $400 this isn't worth it over any of the corded carpet cleaners $150-200 that all come with a hose and tools too.

I agree. I just got one of their 340 carpet cleaners for 140 that came with all the hose attachments. Used it do some deep cleaning on the mattress and stairs. Not paying that much for a machine with no hose.
