I love the simplicity of the design and I am glad Hoover stuck to making the Tempo in a newer format! I hope to get one someday, your dog is adorable!!

The only Hoover vacuum I ever owned is an older Hoover wind tunnel bagged vacuum. I regret getting rid of it. It was a burgundy color. I own a Hoover dual power carpet cleaner without attachments. That’s the only Hoover I own to this day. Which is just a basic Hoover carpet cleaner. Works amazing. I just happened to find it. The Hoover tempo bagged is a very cool vacuum.

Ahhhh... I remember those days when Sears were selling those Hoovers, I wanted to try this particular one at the time and had no luck :(

Aside from the clutch loving to break, these are actually nice machines for the price. Better filtration than the bagless ones too.

That little gap on the bag is normal and it seals itself when the machine is on

I have the Hoover Max Bagged at my grandparents which basically is this vacuum but the base is different and it’s a burgundy color

HO-LEE crap. This vac is powerful. Major suction and at times I literally had to pull to get the hose attachment off the filter. The main thing I noticed is that when I turned on the power the "G-Force" that initiated totally suctioned that gap closed. Have no idea if that's what's supposed to happen, or if that gap is supposed to be like that (i.e. that bag bag door doesn't close flush -just like yours), but after using it, expecting that if the factory didn't assemble it properly, the contents I just vacuumed out of my dryer would be all over the inside of the container vs in the bag, was pleasantly surprised to find all was in the bag. :) ...thanks for posting this video.

Took me long enough lol. But for $115 I certainly can't complain. I don't think these are worth a penny over 150, and when I bought this one wholesale normal new ones were $189

Are these vacuums really worth it because Hoover brand has gone down through the years you're paying for the name but their quality is not there so I'm asking is this really a worth the money or the time to really food with thank you

I just bought one and I love it. I was hesitant because my parents have a commercial windtunnel that is insanely heavy and generally cumbersome, but this one is lightweight and easy to maneuver without feeling cheap. The brush roll on/off switch was a big deal to me because I have mixed flooring and it works like a charm. That, along with the headlight, hepa filtration, accessibility of the brush roll, and low hose mounting for almost canister use are hard to come by at this price point. In fact, I can't think of anything too comparable for the price, not even the new version of this which is missing many of those features. The turbo tool is very neat, the dusting brush is nothing to write home about but works well, and the hose extension and crevice tool are what you'd expect and you can always buy additional extensions if need be. The suction on this thing is very good so I recommend it over just about any other vacuum you'll find at this price. If you're willing to pay more, a lot of this stuff becomes more standard in machines but frankly, I see no need because this does what I need it to do and does it very well.

I'm sorry, but holy shit. -The "gap" thing you mention when you first put the bag door on. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT ABOUT! lol ....Tried calling Hoover cust spt and they're closed. Tried to chat and they're not available. ....SO then I start your video, and the minute you smack it after you click it in, -I KNEW IT WAS DOING THE SAME THING TO YOU AS MINE -BEFORE YOU SAID ANYTHING! lol ....okay so deep breath. It's happening to yours too. And then you did say you heard that it's normal. My stupid dryer keeps giving a failure tone saying to clean the filter -but it's clean. I looked down inside and theres a BUNCH of lint in there. Lots of wet clothes that need drying -more in the washer right now that will need to go in there next. Then I put this thing together and it doesn't close all the way. Uuuuugh! I need the narrow tool to get i t out so I can get my laundry done. So fingers crossed here I go!

@Intellitech Studios weren't the windtunnels and tempos essentially the same machine?
@YoumuHoover

The older ones yes. Even the older tempos still have the Windtunnel insert.

@@YoumuHoover so the tempo was a base model windtunnel with less features where as the higher end models had the dirt finder,handle mounted power switch,edge groomers and a front mounted tool caddy

Pretty much tho the older tempos did have headlights and bagged check indicators and the Plus models did have stretch hoses and a long crevice tool but they are a budget Windtunnel

you know lasko heaters are better they put out good heat with a powerful fan and those have a remote and digital display and oscillation for circulating so even the heater in the background it sounds weird if it has a fan just letting you know and Richard Bilot has one of those
