I don't like Landon either. Mainly because his holding my favorite character Hope back from being what she's ment to be. I love the thought of a Phoenix being in Legacies because Jean Grey from X man is my favorite. But i hate that a boring character like Landon Kirby whom i hate being with my favorite character takes a cool title like Phoenix for himself. But i do think he has more powers. He just has to activate them and Hendon shippers think that his love for Hope is what makes Landon activate his Phoenix powers. But if that was true then he would've met his full potential by now. Infact I believe Landon relationship with Hope is holding him back. Just like Landon is holding Hope back. Just like fate keeps telling Hope despite how much she wants Landon his not the one for her. Hope's main reason for allowing herself to only let Landon close enough to love is because he's boring and not because he's the right one for her. She picked him because his the safest. So she attaches herself To this Phoenix boy and convinces herself that he's her epic love.

Same. I shipped them in the beganning. But somewhere between 1x09 and 1x13 i stopped shipping Handon and no matter how hard i try. I just don't like them together anymore. The ships become quite boring and Hope just needs to be single or get with someone knew. I love the idea of a cupid or his brothers episode. But it being heavily Handon focused took my enjoyment out of it. Everytime Handon is on screen i just want to flashforward. But than i might miss something important. So i make myself watch that Handon bed scene in 2x13. I even made myself watch it a few more times to maybe get myself back on broad with Handon. But it's not happening. I'm just so over that ship.

@@MonaLisa-we4kw Yeah. Hope doesn't really act like her true self when she and Landon are together. When it comes to Handon. All we see of Hope is a obsessive controlling protective mothering girl. At times since getting back together Hope would seem more like Landon's mother than girlfriend. Than admit to loving Landon because of all the things she likes about him that makes him boring. Hope is so forgiving of Landon. When she hurts him by doing something that's for his own happiness and wellbeing over her own. Because his hurt and doesn't understand. He hurts her back by walking away even when she calls him back. He ignores her when she tries to talk to him make him understand. He abandons Hope someone who already has trust and abandonment issues because his afraid to face Hope and Josie. Even after Hope explains why she did what she did. Landon only thinks of his own feelings his own pain. Than once he calms down he goes back to Hope with declarations of love. Hope just takes back despite how must she was hurt by his actions. But Hope is one to blame herself and believe she's not worthy of Landon's love. Landon lovers who ships Handon talks about Landon feeling this way and that why what he suffered growing. Landon has suffered in life i see that. But so has Hope and just like him she has issues. But unlike Landon Hope doesn't purposefully hurt him to make him feel the hurt his caused her. Than he just goes back to Hope as if nothing happened. I get the feeling Hope only took Landon back without asking for an apology or making him regret leaving and hurting her. Hope just takes him back i assume because she believes she deserved his cold treatment. But in truth she did not and maybe one day she'll realize this. I'm glad the Salzman's are back. Because maybe now they can focus more on Hope's relationship with others with the Salzman's other than Handon. Ever since the Salzman's where sent to the prison world. The shows been heavily focused on Handon and that ship is bringing the show down. For me anyway. I mean seriously why did the writers have the need to put Handon back together so fast and without first allowing Hope to experience other relationships outside of Handon. So she gets an idea of what she really wants. She only loves Landon because his not a lier are anything like Roman whom had a hand in her mothers death. But there's different types of love and Hope is afraid to experience them because she doesn't want to meet another Roman. Teenage Hope only being with Landon and calling him the love of her life is bad writing. She's still young. What she know about love? Hopefully Handon getting back together so fast means that Handons not endgame and may soon break up. So Hope could either be single without pining after boring Landon while unsuccessfully trying to move on. I mean while Landon was with Josie and not her we never really get to see Hope as her own true self without the sad wishing i had my boyfriend back attitude.

@@ericasharp1872 yes, i agree with you, the show is boring just with Hadon, I only shipped at the beginning but now it’s tiring, I want to see Hope strong and powerful, let her discover herself, I think with the Salzman's back, things will change, even more than now with Josie like this, Hadon looks just like Hope taking care of Landon as if he were a mother, I don't see anything more than that, let's wait for the next chapters, this is getting really good...
