Terrific. As with Part One I enjoyed your measured and highly knowledgeable approach, especially in dealing with such an extreme case of neglect. (My only reservation was the annoying noodling going on in the background. It’s like having a 14 year old practicing upstairs in their bedroom while trying to concentrate on the TV.) Evapo-rust has worked for me on rust like that and it reusable not cheap. Great on the chassis and hardware.

Nice to see the years of neglect wiped away. I used to have a mid '60s Bassman and a '70s silverface one as well. I really loved the smell of a hot old Fender amp, it just smelled...right for some reason.

Beautiful job on Trusty Rusty's miracle makeover. Harbor Freight (and Princess Auto in Canada) has a set of 3 thumbwheel ratchets for $5 that are perfect for low-torque/tight space applications. They're a no-handle rarchet head withv deep knurling on the outside. One of those "I wish I had known about this sooner' tools.
