Egyptians in January overwhelmingly approved a referendum on a draft constitution that for the first time included mention of Nubians. Many Nubians were relocated for construction of the Aswan High Dam some 50 years ago, and they now hope they can return to their historic homeland by the Nile.

these are the descendants of the ancients. Nubians and Egyptians were virtually identical to invaders and outsiders. The only things that seperated them were beliefs, attire and culture. They started off as the same people and the borders we see today did not exist. I'm sure everyone will have enough intellect to know that Arabs were the last to invade Egypt and they are not the true descendants of the ancients.

It has nothing to do with skin tone, because they have Brown skin. Sudanese did look Egyptian, because that is the regional look. Obviously there are variations, but that is the most similar and the cultural continuity. Horn Africans did NOT mix. The oldest human remains are found there, meaning others left that area, not the other way around. Don't be ignorant.

Pretty much northern halfa tribe are the ones in egypt. There are about 30tribes of nubians in sudan. They were part of sudan, they scattered because of the dam.
