Dr. John Stracks talks with Dr. Patricia Olson, a trained neuroscientist and resident physician specializing in neurology.
For more than 15 years, Dr. Olson suffered from intractable and chronic migraine, vertigo, severe fatigue, and crippling anxiety. By the age of 35, she was taking sixteen prescription medications and was unable to work. After being introduced to mindbody medicine, she was able to slowly stop all of her medications and learn a lot about herself along the way. She is now working full-time as a resident physician and uses her knowledge of mindbody medicine and neuroscience to control any headaches that come up.
Listen as Dr. Stracks and Dr. Olson give advice on:
• How mindbody medicine can provide a common language and sense of community for chronic pain sufferers
• Working through past trauma on a healing journey
• Learning more about yourself and using that knowledge to move forward

Yes it was , I remember about a year ago I was at the many primary doctors I was trying and at one point he put his hand on my shoulder and told me to relax and everything is going to be okay My pain and anxiety took a 180 turn

I'm always reminded not to discount little wins... and then to celebrate them. I am so wired to scan for danger even in a safety zone!! That rewiring is a sticky wicket!!
