I live in Christchurch NZ and we had a earthquake that destroyed the city in Feb 2011. Japan sent USAR teams to help search the buildings and unfortunately in March 2011 an earthquake stuck in northern Japan causing that devastating tsunami. I've been to Japan twice and love it. Our seismic life in NZ is very similar - this is life on the Ring of Fire.

We're still getting used to it. Coming from the Midwest, I never felt an earthquake growing up (or if I did, I didn't realize it!). They are terrible indeed.
I've been wondering how everyone was doing and if you were affected by the earthquake. Thanking God, you're well. I'm praying for those affected by the quake.
I am happy that your friends & family are OK from the earthquake. Hope you have a fantastic 2024 in Japan 🇯🇵.

Glad you were all okay! I’ll keep Japan in my thoughts, I can’t imagine how it must feel to start your year with such an earthquake! I did really love this video, I love how Anna and Becca are still acting their age and just play and have fun! I’ve seen so many children their age who seem to forget that they are allowed to play and have fun

Although the unexpected happened on New Year's Day, it was a relief to see the smiling faces of the Reutter family.😊 The children's joy at the presents made us feel that we should make an effort for the children who will carry the future on their shoulders. I would like to set firm aims for this year and move forward. I wish huge graceful hapiness for all over the world.

I'm sorry to all the people affected by the earthquake and plane disaster, but I'm glad to see that you guys got your year off to a good start. I don't really know what it's like to go through a disaster. The closest I've come is when my grandmother lost her home in a flashflood, back when I was a young kid. But that didn't really directly affect me, other than to cause some upheaval in my childhood enjoyment. I didn't like the change, but it wasn't my home and I didn't lose any possessions. And all my relatives were safely rescued.

I am relieved to hear that you are all doing well. Sending thoughts and prayers of hope and wellness to those who were unfortunately affected by the earthquake. I am fortunate in the city that I live in (Toronto) up north in Canada rarely (if ever) has to deal with earthquakes and the aftermath that follows. Hope you all have a great start to the new years either way 🎉

Good morning , Life in Japan san . And Happy new year. So, as we know, what was hardest new year stated. I think I have never been heard that hardest accident and disaster just on the Happy new year`s day,Since I was born. For me, sometimes human has to be in the hardest disaster situation very much. And at the same time, we are forced how much biggest power come to human`s life , which is nature power. In Japan, from long time ago still now, we have been experiencing the like these hardest disaster Natuere power damage. But we have not been thinking about these Nature power damage situation very much. Because this Nature gives us very good Havest chance very much, water, good sun shining situaiton and on the Sea side area too, we can get fish, shellfish. These many Haverst chances has been supporting our life situation to be better from long time ago. But , but, these nice Nature situation sometimes become hardest big power disaster situation to the Human`s life. From long time ago, in Japan, we have been trying how we can adapt to these hard disaster situaiton. Now we may need to think about it again. So, Life in Japan san, I am being to wanting to ask you about how we can stable our mental situation as well. In Japan, most of people is thinking that Nature is not so bad , and if we had to be in that hardest life situation , we will start to think that we were not good person, so that is why this hard disaster did come in front of us. We may start to think like that I think. We are allways thinking about Nature is sometimes becoming badly and sometimes become good harvest situaiton for us. So, how do we think that we connect with human life and this chanable hard Nature situation. After these hardest disaster, I am forced how I can connect with religeous and human life. if you could give me your message how I can get clear of this hardest life situation. I real want to go to there for supporting them who are being hardest life situaiton at there. But I can not be going , because I`ve got to do rehabilitation to get normanl left leg moving situaiton as before. I wish your famil will become happier . Life in Japan san.

As Christians, we love God above everything else, but we are also called to love others as we love ourselves. That means helping others when we have the means and the opportunity. We've sent several teams to help after the earthquake in 2011 and then in 2016 down to Kumamoto. These kinds of things help those who were most affected by the natural disasters. You never know why some things happen to some people, but it's important to help. I pray you are able to recover soon and have a very blessed year!

Our Paz Church sent many many teams to help after the huge 2011 earthquake up north, and then in 2016 we sent a couple of teams to help in the aftermath of the Kumamoto earthquake. I was blessed to be able to be a part of one of those relief trips. With the quake just happening, it's best for the rescue teams and government workers to do their job, and then we will be able to access if it is something we should send a team to go help with.

We have units in each room. They are always cold when they wake up but if we have the overhead heater on, they get too hot in the Kotatsu. So it’s one or the other. But the hallways are always cold! The houses are not well sealed so there is a cold draft!!!

I just wonder, as a very religious Christian family who talks about love, peace and god, when you’re going to talk about and send your condolence to Palestinians. As you know it’s Jesus’ homeland and Jesus’ people who are facing genocide. It sucks to be disappointed by the people that I loved to follow for years #freepalestine
@LIJ10 ай бұрын
We pray for peace in Palestine, just like we pray for peace in Israel! We pray for peace in Ukraine, just as we do in Russia. And ultimately we understand that Jesus himself is the Prince of Peace - without him, there is no peace, but with Him there is peace forever.
@Freespirit06110 ай бұрын
@@LIJ so you’re trying to say, this war is the same as the war between Russia and Ukraine or Israel is suffering as much as Palestine. I’m sorry my friend but someone have to tell you the truth, the truth that more than 8000 kids are murdered in 3 months so we can’t act like this is just a random war. I’m not trying to argue but we have to stand right side of the history, years later our kids will study these years in history classes as genocide and we should be able to proudly tell them that we stand against it and we did everything to prevent it. What we can do is we can use these online platforms to be voice for people suffering around the world. Believe me That’ll make these videos more precious #freepalestine
