In all honesty, nothing will ever happen with Raf no matter how much everyone wants it. Raf will never do it. He's made that perfectly clear. He will never do that to Landon. Just like he wouldn't get with Josie after he stupidly slept with Lizzie, even though he really liked Josie. Raf is a good guy and will never do that to someone, the fact that Landon and Hope have such a strong love, Raf would never do that to his brother. No matter if he's with Josie or if she's single and looking for someone else, Raf won't do it because of his loyalty. Albeit they may have been a cute ship, but I never see that happening with the way the writers have created Raf character.

The reason I don't think Handon could ever end like Stelena did it's because, it would have already been obvious. There was always a lot of tension between Damon and Elena, one way or another, and the reason it took so long for Elena to realize and act on her feelings for Damon was because she was supposed to not like him, he was the "evil brother" and an asshole, and I think she also felt like Stefan was the better choice because he had been there when she needed someone the most and had done so much for her, but you don't have that with Hope, her feelings for Rafael aren't shown not because she's supposed to hate him or whatever, but because they aren't there, she would have had the chance to go to Raphael when she saw that Landon was with Josie and she decided that she didn't wanna ruin their happiness, but she didn't and when Raf tried to make a move she let him down, because she truly loves Landon, she doesn't feel like she owes anything to him (like I think Elena did with Stefan at one point) and she doesn't really need him per se, she is perfectly capable to handle things on her own, but she still wants him by her side because she loves him and that's beautiful, that's what epic love really means. I think it is pretty normal for people to look for parallels between Legacies and tvd but I think it's also important to keep in mind that these characters are very different from the ones of the vampire diaries, especially when it comes to the main character, the only thing Hope and Elena really have in common is that they both lost their parents and have found a pseudo-father figure in Alaric but other than that they are very different people. Elena was often the damsel in distress, especially at the beginning of the show, Hope is no such thing she is a true heroine and I think she is way more aware of who she is and what she wants than Elena was (THIS IS NO HATE TO ELENA'S CHARACTER AT ALL). And honestly I think if they'll try and have Hope and Rafael it would be really forced. As for Hope and Clarke that would be the definition of toxic and I think that's enough as to why, it would be wrong, Damon was kept kind of grounded to humanity not just by Elena but also by his brother, Clarke despises Landon and has tried to kill him so he doesn't even have that. And also a lost cause she'll have to "nurse back" into being a decent human being is the last thing Hope needs. Hope deserves someone as loving as Landon, as she herself wrote he is a lot of the things that she is not, or at least not always, those two balance each other out and are good for each other and trowing all of that out of a window would really be wasted potential.

It was pretty clear that Landon didn't truly love Josie. Even he said that he loved Hope when he couldn't remember her. He was already falling for Hope before he remembered their relationship...while he was dating Josie. I honestly think Josie and Landon should have stayed friends from the get. They were happy as friends.

I don’t think Landon didn’t love her without remembering her I think he was just confused because he was in a relationship with someone else but he felt like he had some type of connection to this girl he didn’t know. Landon knew there was something between them and he asked Hope about it, but she didn’t answer him. Rafael has had feelings for Hope since day one so I wouldn’t expect that to change whether he remembers her or not. The circumstances for those 2 relationships are very different.
