ngl I never thought I'd like a new-age ship this much. I tend to only get this invested in ships from shows in the 90s and early 2000s lol.... but seriously I knew I'd be hopelessly obsessed with them since their first scenes together in The Originals.... they're just so cute and wholesome but also still angsty and I love that!! I still think the show can be kinda silly at times (an understatement lol) but they really do a fantastic job with ships....

I hated finding out that it wasn’t Landon but actually Malivore but this is their song I agree with that and they are literally the best ship ever especially out of the whole tvdu my top three are handon, delena, and klamille (if you disagree that is perfectly fine) and they said that they will come back stronger than ever at the end of season 3 and there are still 4 episodes but to get the show back to its normal schedule and it will come back on October 14 and I’m waiting to see hope defeat malivore and get them back and they said this season will get darker and will give off more tvd vibes than usual but I’m excited

tbh I was sooo shocked when I realized it was Malivore and not Landon, but it just makes me even more excited to see where the show goes from here... and yess love delena they are my favorite tvdu ship (klamille is good too, but tbh I prefer klaroline lol) delena and handon are two of my favorite ships in tvdu... and ngl I love that the show is gonna be a bit darker and more like tvd- I like that legacies isn't afraid to be fun and whimsical at times, but I think it's still trying to find a good balance, and if it gets a little bit darker like it has been this season, I think it'll be perfect

It also sucked that the ship got so much hate; reason why I love handon is because it reminds me so much of Klaus and Camille. You're honestly the sweetest!🥰 And yeah, Handon/Landon definitely get way more hate than they deserve, but personally I just love how sweet and innocent they can be with each other, since they both had such difficult childhoods... Normally I like ships that are a bit darker (handon has a bit more of that this season, but not nearly as much as my other ships), but I really love how cute they are together lol... but still, I get that not everyone is gonna ship it, but a lot of people in the fandom go a bit overboard about it.... the main reason people don't like them together (other than shipping Hope with someone else) is because they think Hope's whole storyline is just focused on Landon. Which, yeah it's a huge part of it, but I think it makes sense that her character would be relationship-focused since one of Hope's biggest struggles is letting other people in because she's scared to lose them (they give plenty of screen time to her platonic dynamics too, but most people don't want to admit that)... Hope is the most powerful character on the show, so if they focused only on her powers/abilities it'd be very low-stakes and boring in my opinion lol (sorry for the mini rant lol I just really love this ship/these characters)

My theory is that it’s was the Real Landon who broke up with her to protect her. Maybe he already knew Malivore was inside of him and Landon wanted to protect Hope. Because in Season Finale when Cleo was helping Landon/Malivore to inspire we saw pictures of Hope and Landon. And remember the prophecy of the Sphinx in Season 2. The destroyer of all is Love.
