I didn't like how Alaric talked about Hope's dead dad and mom. She fills guilty because technically they died because of her.They knew what was coming but they didn't deside to kill Hope,They desided to let her live and let her become a powerful hybrid like her dad,even better than her dad. She's lucky to have parents that decided to die for her.

Exactly I hate when Alaric talks bad about klaus infront of hope because he was still her dad. He was trying to better for her but like what they were doing to Lizzie in the last episode of season 2 of legacies he wasn’t able to look past one version of klaus. Personally I feel like he only wanted to see the bad klaus.

@@anastacia2269 exactly, Alaric has a lot of good reasons to hate Klaus, but his personal grudges shouldn't influence how he talks to a child about her father. Especially in the way he always condemns the idea of her being anything like Klaus, when there's plenty of good ways she could be proud to be like her father. I think that's part of why Hope holds back using her full abilities, she's afraid Alaric will start to hate her too. I don't dislike Alaric, but I think Caroline would have been a much better mentor for Hope.

I really want Hosie to happen, I feel as if josie and hope are both these damaged souls, whom are searching for something that could make them whole; someone that would love them for them, despite their flaws. Hope has lost both of her parents, one of which she barely got see. She has no one, as her aunts and uncles has a life of their own. Hope is always so alone; much like her father. She is so broken, it's terrible. She was used by so many, some of which were the ones she trusted, the ones who she loved. She fell in love with landon, only to be betrayed by him. No matter the reality, she always seems so alone. Josie saw her biological mother rise from the dead, watched her father fall in love with her with a mere glance at his dead wife. Her sister enjoys attention, and it seems josie is just someone who lizzie uses for her personal needs. Josie, being the person she is, she cares for her sister no matter what. She longs for companionship but is afraid of her heart being broken again, yet she has fallen for another. But, that someone caught the eye of her sister; and because of this, it is unlikely josie will end up with said person. She's a broken soul, longing for someone who could love her correctly. So, forgive me if i'm wrong to think that they aren't perfect for each other.
