Love the dead pan banter of these guys. I first discovered them via a Tiny Desk Concert and I have been a fan ever since. Thanks for bringing them on the show again!!

Happened to me the same way! I first saw the tiny desk and shortly after that the lincoln theatre concert. Their music is so beautiful :)

My two favorite songs by the MCKs. Perfection. And the banter :)

The comment about how these guys are such a good kick off to your show was spot on. Their harmony, their Smothers Brothers like tongue in cheek humor, really sets the stage for what's to come!

They really are an awesome blend of Smothers Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel with just killer guitar chops.

If you haven't seen it check out this 2013 clip of this song from the Showtime Movie "Another Day, Another Time" where they bring Marcus Mumford to tears. Look at Chris's reaction as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5m0i6ybgrGAl8k I love these guys and have seen them 6 times in person, once in my little home venue. Going to Colorado to see them open for Mumford and Sons in August. Can't wait

What's with the scarf on the guitar neck?
@johningram21534 жыл бұрын
I read something about this. It has to do with where he puts the capo on his Martin. The scarf provides just the right amount of muting, I think. It gives him just the sound he's looking for.

If you watch the tiny desk concert he explains - it tends to buzz when he has a capo on a high fret.
