I think something that gets lost when watching the anime is the fact that the public NEVER had to deal with something like this. All Might was such a force of nature that no one ever even had to consider what was going wrong in society; recall that crime rates dropped in Japan simply because All Might was there. He created a world where peace was so common place that it started getting taken for granted. Now that he's retired, the horrors and hardships that he was holding back have now fallen onto everyone else in society. The story of my hero can be broken into three parts if you will: the world during All For One's reign, the world during All Might's reign, and the world after All Might's era. During All For One's time, there was no hope, there was no peace, only fear and death for anyone with the potential to become a threat for All For One. All Might came in and defeated All For One and created a boundless era of peace for 40 years, during this time society came to expect peace as something common place that is expected of heroes because All Might's existence itself was a deterrent for criminals. After All Might retired, no one individual could fill those shoes, no one person could be the next All Might. What we're seeing here is all of society learning that they need to work together to surpass All Might. It'll be tough, but that's the next step in this society's progression.

Here's a detail that not many people get as the character is a minor extra we see in passing: Eel Boy, the hero shown in Ochaco's flashback, was murdered by Twice to free Toga from being captured by the heroes during the fight against the Paranormal Liberation Army. Toga used his blood shortly after Twice's death to hide among the heroes.

Yeah, the hero society is trash for reasons that encapsulates the arguments of Stain, Lady Nagant, Toga, and Shigaraki. However, there’s Spinner’s story that was meant to be told earlier and properly. Basically, the society is so trash that if your quirk causes and mutation people discriminate against you. But that’s just in the big cities, outside the biggest cities (spoiler alert) (spoiler alert) (spoiler alert) the racism is so bad that it manifests in physical beatings and community lynchings.

Crazy how some in the crowd twisted Best Jeanist words around, and then tried to do the same to Uraraka. It was like they were accusing them of saying they were to blame/were responsible/should take the burden off them. And all they were saying was let the boy rest up (and clean up and eat) so he can have the strength to fight. And note Shoto, Endeavor, Hawks and All Might (in a different location) all decided to stay outside the Barrier so they wouldn't rile up the crowd into a riot.

I don't think they twisted jeanist words, all they know is deika was destroid and the heroes weren't there, they went to war and fail, and now they went out with deku and failed so now they bring the villans target to them and say hey the villans may come to you but its all we can do, so i get them thinking they were putting the burden on them.

This episode parallels S1 ep 2 with All Might telling Deku he can be a hero and S1 ep 4 with Uraraka offering her points for the entrance exam so that Deku could be accepted at UA. Deku's best girl got him to react like how he did to All Might telling him he could be hero. Only All Might and Uraraka made him react falling to his knees like that, with words to reach the depths of his soul.

Fun facts: Eel boy, the guy we saw in ochacos flashback, was killed by twice right before he died in s6 e3. The reasonable guy in the crowd with the star ears was the same guy we saw talking to Deku in episode 1, and his first supporter. Also shigaraki has technically accomplished the dreams of Redestro and stain. He’s created a society where people are freely using their quirks to protect themselves, and all the fake heroes are quitting, so only the true ones are left.

One thing I found interesting in this all situation about heroes on stage is that you can make a paralele with how a lot of people see celebrities. And it's sad that Eel-boy, the hero that Uraraka saw when she was younger, is the guy who was killed by Twice's double in the 3th episode of this season

Hawks lines not only calls back to his lines back in Season 4, but like Mirio earlier in the season mentioned "smiles for a bright future," what Sir Nighteye wished for. Great lines from Hawks, Nezu and the Star-Headed Guy (for Episode 1), along with Ochaco's speech. Great episode.💯

Stain says that All Might is the only true hero in his eyes, and I'm sure that he's gaining mad respect for Deku as well. Stain had plenty of opportunity to jump All Might, no way he's planning on attacking him

Problem with Hero Society is All Might being who he is created such a peaceful era all his own... everyone got complacent. The heroes were not prepare to handle a big situation like Liberation Army. Civilization heavily relied on heroes while neglected those who needed immediate help (like Shigaraki before AFO found him). Some villians were made as a result of fail Society like Toga, La brava, and Gentle criminal. It's so bad that people put heroes on a high pedestal, that mistakes made most of the society forget they are also human.

Nokia don’t have multiple people inside of them, it’s more like they are zombies that were implanted with multiple quirks. And kurogiri is basically the corpse of shirikumo and the doctor altered his original quirk to create the warp gate. So there is a possibility of bringing shirikumo back. I think it’d be cool if eri used her rewind to bring him back, as a way to repay aizawa who is basically her father figure.
