True what the director said when adopting or getting a pet dont just think its cute think how will you take care of it, when it got sick how will treat it and how your family feel about it since you live together and sometimes they will be the one taking care of it when your not in the house.

Hedgehogs are really quite an interesting little creature. We rescued one durring a bad winter storm. The kids found her walking across the yard, covered in snow and ice.

In so many ways a pet is exactly like a family member. You wouldn't adopt a child from an orphanage either because they 'look cute'. They require the same kind of constant care, love and attention as a child would, so if that's not something you are prepared or ready to give, then do not get a pet. Maybe a Tamagotchi, though :)

Found an albino hedgehog out in my backyard 2 nights ago, I had no idea they are covered in thorns…they are illegal here in Georgia and I have no idea how to take care of a hedgehog…I have 3 senior Dachshunds…so Sonic is going to Florida with my daughter to go to someone that already has 1..

The wheel isn't too small, he was unfamiliar with it. Probably the first time even seeing one. Whoever abandoned him probably only left him in a boring cage and his only excitement was eating. Now he is with good people who will take proper care of him. Any pet will be lazy if no one interacts with them!

Get proper hedgehog food from Spikes crunchy dry food but remember to put out water. Wet Cat and dog food also ok
