I do that too It really breaks my heart to just pass by a hungry animal. I gave pig intestines to a dog who was hungry since i didnt have anything on me. At my country it is what dogs mostly eat. She was thankful but she couldnt eat it since it was hot, when i pass by to where she is suppose to be she was not there i asked the neighbors , they say she was adopted by a family i hope they really take care of her

I think they have a new set of eyes on the lookout for strays in the neighborhood. Just hopefully they're not going to do a rescue on their own and call for backup from HFP. They can observe and learn like this first time. Maybe seeing new veterinary specialists being inspired.

I just fostered my first dog! It was an amazing experience and I highly suggest it to anyone that is able too. It was a female and she had been at the shelter. She had actually been there the longest and no one was even interested in her,so me and my mom went in and fostered her. When she came out of the kennel she was so happy and excited. We took her home and in less than 24 hours she had Not in not two but FOUR applications and interests in her. It really showed when we posted pictures of her sitting in my grandmas lap like she was a little lap dog( she was a medium size and 36 pounds) and doing well with small children. Some of our traveling friends got her and luckily we get to puppy sit her next week!!!! It really was a blessing and I hope and lesson to teach to people who might foster.
