Hopeless Pursuit Verified (Former Top 1) - UCN: Deluxe

I don't know where to begin.
I started this mode 3 months ago, on August 13th. Over 5000 deaths later, I have beaten it. This mode is so much harder than anything FNAF has seen before, and I don't think it will get toppled any time soon.

Almost a year ago I finished UCN deluxe, but I wanted more. So I worked with nephryte to create the ultimate challenge, something SO hard that even the biggest deluxe loser, myself, was defeated by it. For the longest time I didn’t think it was possible for a human to be this perfect for 6 minutes straight, but here we are, congratulations Kam.

For real though, this is the greatest and most important event in FNaF history by far, even as recently as 2 months ago, this mode was considered humanly impossible by most of the MML community, which only shows how fast you're able to progress and how little needs to happen in order to drastically change minds of most people. This achievement also undoubtedly makes you the top 1 FNaF player by far, no matter what dumb people say, due to the fact that Hopeless Pursuit is harder than beating the entire former top 30, or even more. All the things, memories, events and troubles you've faced in your life have led you to this point, from you hearing about FNaF franchise for the first time, beating 50/20 mode for the first time, creating 50/50 strategy and beating 50/50 mode yourself, and even quitting FNaF, then coming back just to verify Funtime Gala Very Hard Mode. These are things that create your character (at least FNaF part of it), which made you verify this mode, and nobody will ever take it away from you. I'm not really sure how 5k deaths look in practice, but I'm pretty sure that's at least 100 hours and below 200 hours, which is extremely impressive, considering the greatness of this accomplishment. "fnaf 1 4/20 is impossible" - got beaten now lays in legacy "fnaf 2 10/20 is impossible" - got beaten "50/20 UCN is impossible matter what" - rhemery beat it "50/20 without Death Coing Funtime Foxy is impossible" - argon matrix proved them wrong "winning with more than 10% on 50/20 is impossible" - WR is OVER 80% and we can continue and continue all the "thought to be impossible modes" you have SL prepatch, TN prepatch from cecr, Twisted 27, 14/22, 6/15 and so on and on and on, all modes are now beaten by multiple people TN AC was thought to be impossible yet it got beaten by shooter "Hopeless Pursuit is impossible" - and here we are... Kam. I am so unbelievably proud of you. I really am. This mode really kicked you down, over and over again. Thousands of times. However, every single time, you just kept getting back up, and kept going. Your determination and willpower showed so heavily in this mode. Even if you did absolutely nothing in terms of FNAF, this would still stay uncontested. This mode will truly stay at #1 for at least a year. However, something that I appreciate more than this modes difficulty, is you, Kam. For the 6 months that I've known you, you have been nothing but supportive and nice, and was always there whenever I needed it. When I rebeat Rat & Cat All Challenges, you instantly stopped everything you were doing, to call and be supportive. Whenever I realized that I HAD to rebeat it, and was bummed out, you ended up being there, to talk. Everything that you have done for me has been something that I appreciate every single day. You have just been the most sweet and nice friend that I could ever have. Despite you consistently calling yourself 'unbearable', you are really anything but. You have been someone that I can constantly go to for advice or even just to talk about what's bothering me. Your support as an individual also shows in other people. It's not just me that you are nice to, it's everyone. You are constantly being there for others, even if you have just known them for a few minutes. In the first two days of me knowing you, you offered to playtest my game. hp is basically 50/30 ndc but with extra steps: freddy leaves faster but will only leave if you saw him standing at the door on cam 1 before closing the door chica can only be heard if in th kitchen camera foxy kills you if he progresses one stage (he progresses after you don't watch him for at least 6 seconds) flashing phantom freddy does nothing phantom bb's jumpscare is lethal phantom mangle's, omc's, jj's, bb's and bonnie's effects are permanent plushies cost 60 coins each funtime foxy's showtimes are every hour rockstar foxy appears more often and can't kill, his only helpful power up is +5% power rockstar bonnie, rockstar freddy and plushtrap will not leave if you deal with them, it will just reset their kill timer

Probably my last comment cause I don't wanna get on your nerves, but this is so super impressive to me. Even with top GD levels I understand how people can do them (with maybe the exception of VSC?) I understand how people are capable of learning such precise timings and movements, but this is so comparatively unapproachable. I don't even know how you would possibly start with this. I'd like to point out (since nothing I could possibly say could truly add to this) that, at least according to the descripting, Kam doesn't hate this challenge, that she thanks the devs and fellow runners for creating and challenging the run. This sentiment, I feel, is horribly uncommon where others who achieve Hard* challenge completions seem to hate their challenges after completing them. Hopeless Pursuit is genuinely some of the most fun I've had in gaming - no doubt in part due to the memories I have of grinding it and the place it holds in my heart of exactly what I wanted out of UCN. I do wish this sentiment was shared more, but I'm happy, and at the end of the day that's all I have the power to control. (though this isnt a sentiment i have with all the modes i play lol, the mode im grinding currently sucks and im not enjoying it at all 😭)

an ultra tl;dr is: - start with 60% power, powerout pauses time (cant win with powerout) - most characters are more aggressive - rockstar foxy spawns every 30s, his parrot gives +5% power - any mistake punishes you as much as it can (omc locks cams forever, bonnie's static is permanent, shocking scrapbaby incorrectly loses all power, etc) - some characters are permanent (rockstar freddy/bonnie, plushtrap, etc) - plushies cost 60 coins - forced ndc and more

When I found out about 50/20, I thought it was near impossible to beat. When I found out there was a super buffed version of it, I thought it was impossible, but it was beaten. Finding out about this, a super buffed version of no death coin and no exploits challenge for a super buffed version of 50/20 mode, I knew it would eventually get beaten, though I thought it would take at least 200+ hours of practice. GG on this massive accomplishment Kam, you can rest now, for there is nothing else for you to do.

ucn deluxe is basically ucn with no exploits (no office stalling and no cam stalling with a few exceptions) but balanced and made a lot more difficult. hopeless pursuit is a hyperbuffed version of 50/20 deluxe with no deathcoin (you cannot purchase the deathcoin because it costs 1000 coins and there is a coin cap below that number.) with a lot of changes to make it as hard as humanly possible while still being somewhat balanced.

This is basically 50/30, no stalling, you start with 60%, no intervals, no deathcoin, every character appears and moves much more than normally (like every 2 seconds), and with most mechanics balanced or changed, such as:foxy kills you if he progresses one stage (aka if you don't watch him for ~6-12 seconds, freddy leaves faster bur will only leave if you saw him standing at the door with the camera, chica is silent if you're not watching the kitchen camera, mask Animatronics except golden freddy take 5 business days to kill due to balancing, mangle and w chica move faster, don't care about the vent door but will pause for a bit when they reach the vent snare (the vent snare will also disappear on it's own after an animatronic is repelled by it and you'll have to set it up again), bb and jj PERMANENTLY steal your flashlight/doors if you let them in, molten freddy has no sound cue, phantom mangle PERMANENTLY appears in your office if you watch her, phantom freddy doesn't care about the flashlight, phantom bb IS LETHAL, the plushies cost 60 COINS EACH, jack o chica insta kills once temperature reaches 90, omc PERMANENTLY locks monitor if you don't catch the fish, funtime foxy's showtimes are every hour, happy frog, mr hippo and pigpatch will now break out of the audio lure if it is used on them for like 15 seconds (the lure will also disappear on its own after about 20 seconds), neddbear and Orville are not stopped by the audio lure nor the heater, they reset to the beginning once they hit a closed duct, Rockstar freddy WILL NOT leave when payed 5 coins, it will just reset his kill timer, Rockstar Bonnie WILL NOT leave when his guitar is found, it will just reset his kill timer, rockstar foxy can't kill, appears twice as often and gives you a +5% power buff. Other 3 of his options are debuffs (increasing temperature, taking fazcoins and increasing noise), scrap baby appears more than once per night, if you shock her when she's not looking at you you'll lose all your power, afton appears more than once, lefty now requires silent ventilation and not global music box, phone guy PERMANENTLY adds one bar of noise if you miss him, RWQFSFASXC PERMANENTLY darkens your office, plushtrap WILL NOT leave once watched, it will just reset his kill timer, nightmare chica appears more than once and requires heater instead of A/C, minireenas PERMANENTLY block your vision, lolbit appears more than once
