When you released Coffee Zone I listened to it at work every day for weeks! Love hearing this track again. The mix is so deep while getting across the feeling of impulsiveness implied by the title. It's just amazing. I can't believe it's just a module.

If I recall correctly, you wrote in the Soundcloud description on this that it was impossible to be played on real hardware. I always thought that was kind of a beautiful analogy for the feeling of a hopeless romantic, of unrequited feelings - you can simulate it on your own but sometimes it's just not possible in reality. I've been watching your videos for like five days and you've already gotten me hooked on Famitracker so I have to ask: how the hell are you making that percussion sound so punchy at 1:14 without the DMC sampler? Are you just combining a fast downward pitch sweep on the triangle with the noise channel? If so, it sounds incredible but I can't seem to parameterize it correctly

It's clocked at 224hz, the tri kick is a lot more like an actual kick due to the faster pitch slide vs. 60hz.
