People may try to get you to go into the studio, lay down the piano track, then go back and sing over that, for mixing purposes. I think music often loses something with that method. I like when you record the song both singing and playing piano, or guitar, all at the same time. Which I know can be difficult. I am only a semi-pro singer guitar player but I almost never do one without the other. It can present challenges for practicing but it makes my guitar playing and singing come together as a unified whole. I may sometimes practice the guitar alone if working out some difficult parts of a song, but even that is the exception. Your recording setup is great and I hope you never stop making music videos while doing both playing and singing at the same time. Making them inseparable. And btw your singing just continues to get better and better! Thank you for this great cover. r
