People have to understand that a band's music evolves as the band members themselves change and go through life. They're going to experience things that make them feel different than how they felt 2 years ago. You can't expect a band to have the same sound over their entire career. People change. You can't stop that.
@karlakozak92547 жыл бұрын
I prefer when bands change their sound from album to album because it is like a fingerprint. However, I don't like it when bands change the entire genre. Like rock to hip-hop or something.

The way I see it, there’s POP punk and there’s pop PUNK. IMO, there’s 2 different types. The POP punk: old all time low, mayday parade, the Maine. They have more a pop side than punk but it’s still both. And then there’s pop PUNK. Neck deep, state champs, the story far, etc. more punk than pop but still both
@collinqs25416 жыл бұрын
Amanda Beaver more like there’s modern pop punk and there’s older pop punk. Older pop punk like nofx and lagwagon are more on that punk side and these new bands are basically all more on the pop side minus a few. This song isn’t really a pop punk song though. Just a pop rock song.

IN BLOOM LYRICS [Intro (Sampled)] "Almost fourty-eight hours have passed since the fall of an atomic bomb, and an attack upon the cities of man. And even now we are only beginning to see the aftermath of a massive display of destruction and power, that has uprooted our fresh outset of peace in civilised society. Despite the rubble, there is a predominant sense of wonder and marvel at the awesome nature of this technological terminus that has bewildered the very core of the human psyche." [Verse 1] Sometimes at night, I let it get to me And sometimes, I'm sure it gets to all of us And last night it had me down, I'm feeling numb I can try, but sometimes that is not enough [Pre-Chorus] No, sometimes that is not enough No, sometimes that is not enough [Chorus] And stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom [Verse 2] And thinking back upon those days Way way back when I was young I was such a little shit 'Cause I was always on the run Well you know just what they say "Just like father then like son" Don't delude me with your sympathy 'Cause I can do this on my own [Pre-Chorus] And this won't be the last time That I break down and wanna crawl to bed 'Cause the truth is You're the only voice I wanna hear in my head so [Chorus] Stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom (All in bloom) [Bridge] And stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better [Chorus] And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom [Outro] All in bloom All in bloom

This came out 2 days before I started secondary school, made my small friend group in the same week and we never fell out. This year some are leaving to go to college, this absolute tune was one of my favourites and I’d think to myself “those lyrics will only mean something in like, 5 years” and it’s flown in..... I’m gonna miss them
@keys93333 жыл бұрын
That's crazy to read man! This came out in my final year of secondary school and reading this just makes me feel old now lol. Time is only going to move faster but it's not a bad thing! Make the most of your time, love everything you have around you ya dont know what can be taken away! And don't be afraid to pursue the things you want for yourself All the best : )

Colin X Neck Deep is the best "modern" pop punk band. Imo nothing can beat blink-182 but Neck Deep is the best pop punk band from the 2010s since blink is from the 90s

This song has always been one my fav neck deep songs for sometime now. Ever sense my dad passed on feb 8th of this year, this song has even just been hitting even more. Even though we weren’t the closest and everything I still think about him a lot, even more I can more then relate to these lyrics. Try see the positive side of things but still have hard days a lot, and I feel like my emotions weigh down even on my most important relationships. I try be happy because I knew he hated see me upset, so try see it all in bloom and keep going going with a positive attitude. But miss you dad, I haven’t felt completely the same way sense. Like I told you I’m gonna be a musician and keep that promise, this song and my dad are few the couple things to keep me motivated besides my favorite bands/musicians. Thanks Ben for this lovely song, it’s one that keeps me motivated to even work on myself. But still feeling okay with not feeling okay, I love this song so much but I always wanted some lyrics or some type of reference tatted on me! Now I been thinking of this song and something else go along with my dad (Edit, I got broke up with lmao but music helping like alwayss, and I think about my dad and that moment. I miss you dad more then anything, I wish we were closer but I think about you more then you know)

This is definitely very far to the pop side of poppunk, and I fucking love it. Now we have an album for every side of the spectrum, Wishful Thinking on the far right at the punk, The Peace and The Panic on the left at pop and Life's Not Out To Get You in the middle as the perfect mix. Now there's a Neck Deep album to choose for every mood!

@konstantinakelesidi72266 жыл бұрын
Sometimes, at night I let it get to me. And sometimes, I'm sure it gets to all of us. And last night it had me down, I'm feeling numb. I can try, but sometimes that is not enough. No, sometimes that is not enough. No, sometimes that is not enough. And stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. And thinking back upon those days, Way, way back when I was young, I was such a little shit, Cause I was always on the run. Well you know just what they say "I just like father then like son" Don't delude me with your sympathy, Cause I can do this on my own. And this won't be the last time that I break down and wanna crawl to bed, Cause the truth is, you're the only voice I wanna hear in my head. So stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. And stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. All in bloom. All in bloom.
