assuming you mean it sounds like pop and I respect your opinion. It has a different sound than the other songs from the album, but that's the point. Not every song should sound the same. Plus it still sounds pretty rad to me, makes me wanna dance.

I didn't really understand what you were saying, lmao my bad. The video is definitely out of the ordinary from them, but maybe they wanted to try something new with the video? "Stop calling me out. We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better." This has to be one of the most relatable lyrics I've ever heard. In Bloom, for me, is just one of those songs that perfectly sum up the current situation I'm in. Neck Deep has truly won my heart with this one. Can't wait for the full album.

I dedicate this song to myself. The way I see it, it's like reminding yourself you have to be kind to yourself first, to see it all in bloom. "You're the only voice I wanna hear inside my head", like, I don't feel like listening to other people's thoughts about me cause they're wrong and I'm worth it, I'm loved, and I'm strong. I love this song so much.

People have to understand that a band's music evolves as the band members themselves change and go through life. They're going to experience things that make them feel different than how they felt 2 years ago. You can't expect a band to have the same sound over their entire career. People change. You can't stop that.
@karlakozak9254
@karlakozak9254 7 жыл бұрын
I prefer when bands change their sound from album to album because it is like a fingerprint. However, I don't like it when bands change the entire genre. Like rock to hip-hop or something.

Every time I slip up this song comes to mind, especially the lines “Stop calling me out, we’re never going to put the pieces back together if you won’t let me get better” part. I’ve been struggling with substance abuse for years and i’m doing everything I can to get better, but sometimes I slip up and when everyone gets mad/snaps at you it just makes that pain and guilt so much worse. I really want to be better, i’m trying as hard as I can, it’s just those little moments that can set you back so far. I’m ready to be in bloom

i love the pop side to punk as well as the punk side to pop. reading through the comments, sometimes people forget the two don't have to be in one song, sometimes it can lean to punk or pop more, and either way neck deep manages to keep it very them/in their style and i love them for it. as well as that, this is a fucking amazing song and deserves so much recognition.

The way I see it, there’s POP punk and there’s pop PUNK. IMO, there’s 2 different types. The POP punk: old all time low, mayday parade, the Maine. They have more a pop side than punk but it’s still both. And then there’s pop PUNK. Neck deep, state champs, the story far, etc. more punk than pop but still both
@collinqs2541
@collinqs2541 6 жыл бұрын
Amanda Beaver more like there’s modern pop punk and there’s older pop punk. Older pop punk like nofx and lagwagon are more on that punk side and these new bands are basically all more on the pop side minus a few. This song isn’t really a pop punk song though. Just a pop rock song.

What I love about this song is it acknowledges the fact that while you may be messed up, we can get better as long as we’re given the room to breathe. Because we all deserve the moment to bloom. Hang in their guys! Your moment to bloom is around the corner.

IN BLOOM LYRICS [Intro (Sampled)] "Almost fourty-eight hours have passed since the fall of an atomic bomb, and an attack upon the cities of man. And even now we are only beginning to see the aftermath of a massive display of destruction and power, that has uprooted our fresh outset of peace in civilised society. Despite the rubble, there is a predominant sense of wonder and marvel at the awesome nature of this technological terminus that has bewildered the very core of the human psyche." [Verse 1] Sometimes at night, I let it get to me And sometimes, I'm sure it gets to all of us And last night it had me down, I'm feeling numb I can try, but sometimes that is not enough [Pre-Chorus] No, sometimes that is not enough No, sometimes that is not enough [Chorus] And stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom [Verse 2] And thinking back upon those days Way way back when I was young I was such a little shit 'Cause I was always on the run Well you know just what they say "Just like father then like son" Don't delude me with your sympathy 'Cause I can do this on my own [Pre-Chorus] And this won't be the last time That I break down and wanna crawl to bed 'Cause the truth is You're the only voice I wanna hear in my head so [Chorus] Stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom (All in bloom) [Bridge] And stop calling me out, we're never going to Put the pieces back together If you won't let me get better [Chorus] And stop digging it up or we're never gonna See it all in bloom [Outro] All in bloom All in bloom

This song has always been one my fav neck deep songs for sometime now. Ever sense my dad passed on feb 8th of this year, this song has even just been hitting even more. Even though we weren’t the closest and everything I still think about him a lot, even more I can more then relate to these lyrics. Try see the positive side of things but still have hard days a lot, and I feel like my emotions weigh down even on my most important relationships. I try be happy because I knew he hated see me upset, so try see it all in bloom and keep going going with a positive attitude. But miss you dad, I haven’t felt completely the same way sense. Like I told you I’m gonna be a musician and keep that promise, this song and my dad are few the couple things to keep me motivated besides my favorite bands/musicians. Thanks Ben for this lovely song, it’s one that keeps me motivated to even work on myself. But still feeling okay with not feeling okay, I love this song so much but I always wanted some lyrics or some type of reference tatted on me! Now I been thinking of this song and something else go along with my dad (Edit, I got broke up with lmao but music helping like alwayss, and I think about my dad and that moment. I miss you dad more then anything, I wish we were closer but I think about you more then you know)

Sometimes, at night I let it get to me. And sometimes, I'm sure it gets to all of us. And last night it had me down, I'm feeling numb. I can try, but sometimes that is not enough. No, sometimes that is not enough. No, sometimes that is not enough. And stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. And thinking back upon those days, Way, way back when I was young, I was such a little shit, Cause I was always on the run. Well you know just what they say "I just like father then like son" Don't delude me with your sympathy, Cause I can do this on my own. And this won't be the last time that I break down and wanna crawl to bed, Cause the truth is, you're the only voice I wanna hear in my head. So stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. And stop calling me out, We're never going to put the pieces back together if you won't let me get better. And stop digging it up, Or we're never gonna see it all in bloom. All in bloom.
