Praise God for clarification! I've spent my life in a denomination that preached, "We are going to sin every day bc we are still living in these bodies of fallen flesh, but Christ's blood cleanses us of all unrighteousness." That's a license to sin pure & simple! Rather, the Holy Spirit empowers us to resist all temptations we know to be sin. But if we do sin IN IGNORANCE, then Christ's blood cleanses us of all unrighteousness. We are not in bondage to knowingly sin anymore.
