I struggled with a horrible sin for so long that the strong beating of the heart started going down. But God saved me when I discovered that there is no sin so powerful it can overcome God. I cried and cried and today I thank God that He led me back to Himself. I.had to learn to rely strictly on Jesus because when I had told my issue to one church elder I discovered that he was one of the worst gossips I could have gone to. Today I thank God for His healing power. This lesson is so up my street, so apt, all I can do is praise God for Pastor Mark Finley

@@marleny750 it was not a pastor (although there was one there too- now that I talk about it I realise I was in a sadly dreadful church, which never excused my own behaviour), but a church elder! He spread so much info about me I am glad I still go to church, and now stoutly than before! Jesus be praised

I often read the lesson through out the week but often come here to listen to you Pr. Mark teaching the whole lesson. Honestly I have been blessed and each lesson discussions every sabbath I gradually got deeper understanding of the lesson compared to a year ago. Please pray for me and my fiancee (He's none Adventist). Just last night he asked me to convince him to follow God (This is literally the first time he asks this). Pr. Mark, I can feel the Holy Spirit is reaching out to me and us but I think you can help pray for him and our family. I need your prayers. 😢

@@HL365 Pastor Finley- I am writing you personally because lately I have been drawn close to you through your teaching. I used to travel the world for work and I do regret not having used the opportunities to spread the word. My evangelistic spirit was woken up when I went Israel twice in 2018 with a Catholic colleague and I saw with my own eyes how we are so different from each other, as nice as she was. I will spare you the details of what I saw her do the prostate figure of Jesus; she wasn’t the only one - quite astonishing if not shocking or downright embarrassing. Anyway, pastor after my last trip to South Africa I have been laid low by a devastating stroke. It hit me on my right side, it’s gradually taking my speech away, my sight is not as good as it used to be. My employers want to be rid of me. To cut a long story short, Pastor, I believe in God, now more than ever before because I sincerely trust Jesus is coming back soon. So what do I ask God for? His forgiveness which I believe He has demonstrated a lot of in my life. I believe His word in James about anyone who is sick to ask elders to pray and anoint with oil as in James 5, David in Psalms 50:15 about moments of weakness, the pool of Bethsaida experience …. and to have my life back because I would love to work for the Lord again. But ALLat His time. So, I need prayers sir

Thank you for this wonderful inspired Sabbath School lesson, week after week, after week. It truly is inspired by the holy Spirit. I was wondering about Jesus was at the end rejected by his people, however, when He was here on earth (as well in heaven now) He has a magnetic attraction power on people. What is that power? The plain answer is: Love. God is love and most holy and powerful. Of course my brain does not cease to think, so, I thought: if we were to represent Jesus on earth, shouldn't we represent His love? The problem is, we have a complete different understanding of love. Yes, the Bible tells us what love is, but how do we learn to love? Furthermore, do we really understand the further building stones of love, for example: some years ago, and even now, I always wanted to help people. Yes, you might think that this is not such a bad thing, really? Well, I came to realize that the need to help people was intertwined with rescuing people, and this is definitely not love. You see, it is a strategy of mine to lessen the pain of old heaped up trauma (ptsd - post traumatic stress disorder). Slowly, I am learning to love, Jesus teaches me, makes me aware of my strategies and behaviors. It is my burning desire to be close to Jesus so that I can represent Him correctly on earth, while I am here, a burning desire to have this close relationship with Him. Thank you, Pastor Mark, for the clear and powerful message, week after week. It has helped me so much to come closer to Jesus. Every time you mentioned our Savior, you smile. This lifts me up. It is truly inspired by the Holy Spirit. God bless you and your family. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙂🙂
