"Despite everything, it's still you." This is great. I especially like the part at the end where "you are filled with determination" and the other lyric overlap eachother. Combined with the pacifist scene of them all standing there, it hits me in the feels. However. There is one more thing you have yet to accomplish. =) *1 left.

Also, if you don't pause to analyze with knowledge you already have about Undertale (like if someone who hasn't played war bed the hypothetical anime), it doesn't seem to reveal too much. That makes it even better, because once the game ends it all makes sense.

This song honestly made something click, and I realized about Undertale's lore. Specifically the "Have you ever lost it all" all the way to "Oh god how can you blame" Paired with the video in the background, it made me suddenly realize why Asriel's story went the way it did. The human villagers didn't see a young boy coming to lay his best friend and adopted sibling to rest. All they saw was a monster, who they've been taught to fear, walking through their village carrying the corpse of a human child, one who had even come from that same village. One that some of them may even have known personally. The magically-inclined among them may even have been able to see Chara's soul within Asriel's. Of course they responded with hostility. You can't blame them for assuming the worst. And so even as he died, Asriel forgave them. Damn that hits hard

Could you EVER see a Flowey apologizing for killing everything before he was ever given a soul, or given anything he would care to apologize for. Chara and Flowey aren’t innocent, but they aren’t pure evil, and it’s the same type of evil as force of nature. It’s something no one (but us, the player,) has control of. That’s what I think. How do you see it,

@@Princess_Penni The way I see it is that Flowey himself even in the genocide route -- we are given a chance to sympathize with. Chara on the other hand has us do all of the work for them and is even an accomplice in the genocide route. In neutral, she's also completely useless. All of the souls help us in defeating Asriel *except* Determination -- Chara's soul. And this is *after* it was established that every soul had been absorbed by Omega Flowey. Chara didn't seek retribution, therefore she doesn't get it from me. Asriel, as far as I can tell, did everything in his power to be a good person. Even as Flowey, he describes how he tried desperately to love his parents back as they grieved for him as a flower. He then says that he was *physically unable to* . Asriel here gave it his all to do good, whereas Chara just kind of did what they wanted and let others pay the price. So yes, not pure evil, but still worth disliking.

The section from about 2:40 to 3:00 makes me wanna cry and gives me chills every time. It's just so touching and powerful. I also love how it's followed by "despite everything it's still you" which is one of my favorite lines from the game by far! This whole thing is masterful and really captures everything I love about Undertale! I'm also amazed at your dedication to hearting and replying to each and every comment. I wasn't going to leave one originally because as a service to you. Giving you one less comment to have to respond to, but I guess I just couldn't help myself. This is just too good, and I felt the need to thank you personally. So thankyou. You're doing some awesome work here, you should be proud! ^.^ edit : Wanted to add that I find it so cool how sometimes a simple phrase in English can be said with so many more words in Japanese, while an entire phrase can be said with a single word. Japanese just seems to have a lot more flexibility in that sense, and maybe it's just me for not really being a master of English nor knowing much Japanese, but I just think that's really cool.

I’ve listened and loved the original of this song since the day it appeared in my recommended and was looking forward to this full version. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The lyrics had just as much impact as the voice singing them, that along with the visuals really made this song just something else. Well done on this, my only criticism is that the end of the original and picking up into this one definitely felt a bit off for the first few seconds, but it quickly rebounded. Well done on that despite it I’m sure being a tough process!

Okay, this was just pure awesomeness. Good job! Although, as someone who's studied the language for a while, i've noticed a few quirks that make it look like it's been through a translator, but it's not like they're a big deal (one example would be at 1:08, daijobu means 'alright' as in "are you alright" or "i'm fine", where you used it instead of something like 'ne', just as a pointer!) Still too cool to listen to regardless of language, and keep up the good work!
