I had my hair permed crimpy in the early 90s, my mom was probably sick of crimping my long thick hair every morning before school so she let me get a perm 🤣 It looked exactly like what a crimping iron did. Most of the stuff you showed came out in the 80s/early 90s but had a resurgence in the 2000s. I distinctly remember having roll on body glitter in elementary school in the early 90s, particularly the Juniper Breeze purple one. 🤩

Those hair crimpers were around in the '80s. Aquanet, teasing, and those things gave us that huge volume we all wanted in the 1980s. True Story: I got a pink & teal Brooke Shields hair dryer sometime in the '80s. IT STILL WORKS!! I use it daily, and have for 40 years.

Surely someone else has mentioned it, but the "temu crimper" is designed to be used at the roots, around the crown of the head and then hidden under the top layer of hair. It's to give volume 😊

I actually know the creator of Bump-Its personally. Way back in the day when I was in my first serious relationship, my boyfriend at the time was going to school with her daughter and they were good friends, which is how I got to meet the creator.
