it's not meant to be taken literally. it is however a very dark and raw song. the lyrics are written from the perspective of the voices you hear in your head when you are depressed and suicidal. it's meant to make you think that maybe the voices in your head are wrong(evil) perhaps the voice of the death himself trying to coax you down. I see your point, but I think the lyrics are clever and powerful. |trev
