I come from there and here some other places I 100% recommend: - Menton - Les îles de Lérins (off Cannes, with their beautiful lagoon waters between both) - Saint-Raphaël and le massif de l’Estérel (red rocks & hills, it looks like Mars with sea) - Saint-Tropez - Port-Grimaud (with canals like Venice) - Hyères - L’île de Porquerolles (gold) - L’île de Port-Cros (gold) - Sanary-sur-Mer - Cassis and les Calanques de Cassis/Marseille (gold) - Marseille Further from the sea: - Saint-Paul de Vence (medieval village, gold) - Grasse - Les gorges du Verdon - Aix-en-Provence - Avignon - Le Colorado provençal

I went to the south of France a couple of days ago with my friends and we had the best time! I’m already missing it so much and definitely want to go there for longer. We stayed in Menton which was stunning and is super close to the Italian border which is great to get the train to Italy. There’s some amazing restaurants, gift shops, beaches and live music in Menton x

If you like hilly little medieval villages, I think you'd like the Drôme region! it's just north of Provence. It's definitely stunning and much less touristic! xx
