Yeah, people rarely listen to an album from start to finish anymore. All they want is singles, which leaves a lot of tracks getting slept on.

Definitely happy to see him take the high road on that. Those two were like the dynamic duo, and I really didn't want to see them at each others throats. I agree completely with what Hop said. It WASN'T really a dis, it was his opinion and how he felt about what happened. I'm glad that Hop saw that. That said, I hope that one day they can hash it out, and then we can see another Hopsin and SwizZz collaboration, because those two together were straight fire.

They were friends who started a business together and worked side by side, and for a second after hop answered the question he looked down and stopped smiling until he made eye contact with the camera again. I think it did hurt hop losing swizzz as a friend to keep it 100

I liked how he handled the situation when asked about SwizZz. It is a much more mature and thought out approach then a few months ago when he was ranting with emotion and a hard heart. He wasn't getting anything across with the "He said I was lazy" in every interview. He is also learning the business side. He is gaining knowledge on how to release independent music. Dame handled all of the releases. I wish someone would ask him how it is do do that part now. How it feels to have the shoe on the other foot? Journalist don't get deep anymore.

Hop does whatever keeps him buzzing. They are both right from different perspectives. They should have went in on each other a few times to make it give them both a little more hype. Then shook hands and walked away in the end. By how hop normally operates, that might have been his intentions with all your fault. He always thinks in terms of business. And swizzz isn't stupid himself. Thats why he went at hop respectfully, to get the buzz without the backlash.

"Always wanted to be in the back." Hahahaha. No. I'm sure more likely it was Hop and Dame (probably mostly Dame) not thinking he was very marketable. The dude never even dropped an album during the entirety of Funk Volume. That's gotta tell you something. Either he was too lazy when it came to making music, or they didn't allocate resources toward him, instead focusing on Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, and Jarren Benton.

@SupahKamiGuru8 жыл бұрын
Even though everyone liked RAW, that wasn't what created his buzz. It was his music video for "Sag My Pants" after that single dropped, that was when he picked up enough traction for RAW to do well. His albums usually don't sell that well, his first week sales for Knock Madness were around 4k and it took a year and a half for it to get up to the 50k mark. Meanwhile his single "Ill Mind 5" went certified Gold selling over 500k Copies. People are more willing to buy singles than albums. When it comes to underground artist, they don't have the big label backing them to promote their albums with advertisement or radio play so it's not getting shown or sampled to the common people.
