Most blacks don't like Hopsin because he doesn't rap about guns, drugs and hustling and people will refer him to him biting Eminems style because of the same thing! A million rappers can rap about the same shit on every song but they are labeled good but as soon as someone stays away from the obvious crap they get put in with someone else that is also different!
@Spectonimous10 жыл бұрын
How do you know what most blacks like? Don't harp on like your comment is fact, fool.
@shortbus112710 жыл бұрын
Dude it's not a fact but majority of them. I grew up in the hood and knew nothing but blacks and most of them listen to the same shit. I use to tell my homies bout Tech N9ne and 90% of them would say he was wack but truth is they won't listen unless it's something anout selling dope and gangbanging...I use to get in fights back in 97 and 98 because everyone was on that No Limit stuff and I would say Wu-Tang is better but they weren't having it. Also most didn't like Eminem until he signed 50 cent and was raping gangta on some tracks
@shortbus112710 жыл бұрын
Kiros Amhara ALL I'M SAYIN IS THAT MOST....NOT ALL....BUT ALOT......GO WATCH SMACK BATTLES.....THEY ONLY CHEER FOR GUNS AND DRUG BARS.....ANYTHING ELSE GETS BOOED.....IT'S AN ALL BLACK CROWD....EVEN WHEN DIZASTER CAME AND BATTLED HE STARTED OFF WITH GUN BARS (WHICH HE NEVER DOES) AND THEY CHEERED FOR HIM...UNTIL HE WENT AND STARTED RAPPING ABOUT OTHER STUFF, THEN THEY STARTED BOOEIN OR DID'NT REACT.....JUST PAY ATTENTION TO COMMENTS ON KZbin....BLACKS WILL TALK SHIT ABOUT RAPPERS LIKE HOPSIN....SAYING HE IS WACK OR SOFT
@shortbus112710 жыл бұрын
Kiros Amhara AS FOR YOUR OTHER COMMENT MY FRIEND.....BLACKS USE TO SUPPORT NOTHING BUT GOOD, UPLIFTING AND POSITIVE HIP HOP, MOST WOULD CLOWN NEGATIVE RAP....BUT IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND NOW......I'M NOT SAYING ALL BUT ALOT......I KNEW SOME BLACKS THAT LOVED EMINEM WHEN HE FIRST DROPPED BUT EVERYONE ELSE WOULD CLOWN HIM.....UNTIL HE SIGNED 50 CENT AND THOSE SAME PEOPLE THAT DISSED HIM WERE ALL SAYING HE WAS KOOL THEN. WHY? BECAUSE THEY WERE LISTENING TO 50 CENT AND G-UINT AND HEARING EMINEM RAPPING GANGSTA ON THEIR SHIT.....THAT'S WHY......THE ARTIST KNOW THAT......THEY KNOW HOW TO ATTRACT THE WHITE AND THE BLACK CROWD
@shortbus112710 жыл бұрын
Kiros Amhara I WAS GOING TO SAY THAT AS WELL! RAP COULD HAVE CHANGED THE WORLD BUT THE ELITE GOT THEIR SHITTY HANDS INTO IT AND FUCKED IT UP! I'M FROM THE GHETTO AND KNOW NOTHING BUT THE STRUGGLE, THOSE ARE NOT MY PEOPLE, MY PEOPLE ARE THE ONES FROM THE STRUGGLE, BLACK AND WHITE....BUT YOU DO AGREE WITH ME ABOUT PEOPLE BEING CLOSED MINDED TOWARD OTHER TYPES OF MUSIC! IT ALL STARTED IN 98 WHEN A FEW COMPANIES GOT AHOLD OF 95% OF THE RADIO STATIONS AND STARTED PLAYIN WACK SHIT......15 YEARS LATER IT'S NOTHING BUT WACKNESS! IN THE HOOD I HAD NO REAL PARENTS SO I LOOKED IN OTHER PLACES FOR GUIDANCE AND HIP HOP BECAME MY COMFORT, AND THE SAME GOES FOR OTHERS....BUT NOWADAYS MOST OF THE PEOPLE WE LOOK UP TO ARE NOT TO BE LOOKED UP TO....WE USE TO HAVE KRS-ONE, AND PUBLIC ENEMY...NOW WE HAVE LIL WAYNE AND 2CHAINS....IT SUCKS! I STICK EMCEES LIKE K-RINO, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, AND EVEN TALIB KWELI...BUT DUDES IN MY AREA WILL CALL THEM WACK BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYIN TO UPLIFT!
@HowlyPhook10 жыл бұрын
I have more in common with hopsin than any other rapper. I hate how everyone gets compared to eminem though like don't compare artists unless they are purposefully biting style, but if someones trying to be their own and express themself in an original way then don't compare them with eminem. that's like comparing 2Pac and Biggie. they're bothe legends but you cant compare them cause they are too different of styles to be compared. My rant for today.

People have no idea how gifted you have to be to actually freestyle off the top of your head to a beat like that. There's a big difference between sounding like Em and sounding like a rapper who was inspired/influenced/or just listened to Em. You are absolutely correct, Hopsin sounds like Hopsin. Who happened to be influenced by Em. Completely different than someone trying to bite Em's style.

Hopsin is a good dude. Straight up. A. Lot of Brothers will look at him and say he is a square because he doesn't fit the mold. But most of his haters would never be themselves because they to busy being liked and following the trends and trying to be hard. Being unapologetically yourself takes a lot of courage. I give his detractors 10 - 15 years and they will realize he was right all along. Caring for others, being to good to the world and being good to yourself is the highest level a human can reach. I'm Muslim and I can appreciate his sprituallity. The man humbles me straight up. And the kid is dope on the mic too, rare combo.He's destined for greatness. I salute you.

how are u going to call hopsin " trash " if he sounds like Eminem then cool. A lot of rappers copies other rappers for example jayz copied big l, every rapper is another copy or a wanna be lol but back to my point if hopsin is a wanna be eminem how come Eminem hasn't pointed hopsin out

I've been a death metal music fan for my entire adult life. As far as hip hop very few make my personal book because I'm not a big fan of the genre. HOPSIN is so good he makes me reconsider other genres. You know get out of my echo chamber. Love you all

Hopsin is an amazing artist but sadly he's misunderstood because he is real and open about himself

Rappers nowadays has to rap about murder and violence to even get noticed, like why is chief keef famous and not Hopsin? I agree with you, dude is super talented.
@WickedMoto10 жыл бұрын
***** he might but it seems to be from a violent situation, not just some random act of violence. he seems to write from experiences hes had. not like oh im going to go out and shoot some random people. just like in the video he said he's a straight cat and doesn't drink or do drugs and he's trying to get his fans to go down a better road. so he's not trying to promote it. anything that's real, that speaks truth, is usually thrown under the rug. everything is fake now a days. news only states bad things for the most part. anything good that makes news is the one time something is done for the better and it's a situation that is few and far between now a days. so i give hopsin big props for being him and not trying to be one of these mainstream rappers always talking about how much money they have when we are all out here struggling to make a dollar out of 15 cents.

I was rapping in high-school when control came out. Used to battle in the lunch room. Kendrick changed the dynamic of hip hop for a period of time with that verse

Man when I listen to Hopsin it takes me back to abit of what Eminem was like in the earlier days before he went mad on drugs. And I love it. Wish Eminem went back to producing stuff like his old shit. Now days the tracks are filled with shit techno wack beats and dont have enough of that old jazzy hip hop beats. And please don't compare Hopsin to Tyler the creator. When that nigga rapping he sound like he's giving me direction to the nearest Mc Donalds. Fucking wack
