If I'm not mistaken, this choir has been around for over 600 years!!! 😮😊and this is one of the most famous choral groups in the world! The head of the choir and the lead conductor is named Nikon Zhila. 👋The first time I heard them singing was when I was in Paris: they gave a unique concert at Notre Dame Cathedral... 💥The song "The Clock is striking..." was written and performed in the 1979 children's film "Adventures of Electronics". BTW, i have heard this choir, even long ago. But just now I wondered: Sretenka? That`s the street, clear, where and I know it, with every step or a wheel turn. Where could be the monastery there? It`s all of old traders (Купцы, купеческие дома) housings, of XIX century or older, sure. But Where?!? I found it. Yeapp. I knew there was a church there. Or that should have been a cathedral. Ok, if there`s a monastery, quite old, gotta get there. Just not at night and after a club, or passing at business goals and meetings, as I do happen to that place as a rule. Almost no Moscow residents do go to the centre to wander for history. Too busy, nowhere to park, or too expensive, you know.. 4 bucks per hour.. ) Gotta get there, for sure. Love a couple of bars in the vicinity, have visited offices there, but was never aware about the monastery. THanks!

Another BTW, the song was absolutelyyy communist one, it was from the "Electronic`s adventures" movie, almist just as old as I am. Strange thing, I am absolutely more than socialist, more precise to be, a communist person, though, being educated enough, understand, that is not realisable. People shoould change its nature, drastically, first. which is unreal. But what they did with these songs and movies, they just tried. And I grew up, was grown up on these. And now, the church choire takes this song, too. I am not against religions, though, absolutely atheistic. Still, just love this. People should grow up themselves, in all of their lifetimes. Work on themselves. But such songs, do, help us to grow. And believe in the better future. For our kids and ancestors, maybe. Another BTW, the 12 sentences of the Communism are very much alike the 10 commandements. In fact, the church was just a competitor for the minds. And as soon, as the idea has its step hard enough *sure, the war, too, affected, this power was taken into consideration rather than taken as a threat, the church was not banned in the USSR. And just a sketch: I am absolutely atheistic. Considering the harsh sentence of "Opium des Volkes" absolutely correct. But still, people are not perfect, and traditions are irrevocable, and me, I am very much interested and have studied, the christian basics, poorer, Induist/Buddhist/Sintoist ones, and, sorry, not a hence that much about the Islam. Otger religions, too, just a glance. Like Jewdaizm or Persian, Zoroastrism, we call it. Whiskey or wine production, I would say, more or less the same I am in details, but not much. Easy to define Zinfandel from Primitivo, nothing more serious, to be honest. I believe, you read me. Smile, again ) PS: Thomas Aquinas or Montaigne, are more clear to me, than my pals in Israel, two women, who are making some out-of -this-planet wine, explaining, why they took these grapes, and moxed with those, and have taken these yeast, not the next ones. Just magic.

BTW, just another one. We have Christmas on the nigth from 6th to 7th of January. Just cause Russian Empire and the church did not accept the Grigorian Calendar. That is the reason, why we do celebrate the "Great October Revolution" day on the 7th os November. It was in October, but then. it became the November, as soon as the Calender matched yours. the Grigorian one. Still. the Orthodox church of Russia did not accept that till now. So, we are in the current dates. But the Christmas, and some other religious celebrations differ in terms. Not cause of the moon circles, as they do in the East, but just a traditionalism. So, Merry Christmas, again. And note, you got another chance for your audience on the night from 6th to 7ths of January. That would be our Christmas.
