HOR Super Sirex 50 | Failure + Ambiance | Adrian, Missouri | 9/4/24

At 18:00:13 the Town of Adrian conducted a monthly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, the test consisted of about a 3 minute Attack.
The 3rd and final siren of this trip, was of course, the infamous Super Sirex. I thought it would be interesting to hear it, plus it’s only 20 minutes from Drexel. It had other plans for me today though lol. I’m not super disappointed that it failed. The ambiance was cool and very loud since they have the sirens piled in every quarter mile. We come to MO somewhat frequently so I’m sure I’ll get another shot at recording this again

Damn, that ambience is fire! Especially the harmony between the 3v8-H and the 3T22! This is a very nice selection of sirens! (And of course the STH-10's winddown extended the duration of the video by a minute lol) The failure of the Sirex is definetely not a bad thing.

@ Not at all lol. Every ambience of Adrian from the town itself is maxed out due to the sheer coverage of the town lol

@@Tigers9596 I can agree on that!, when everything is 900ft from eachother it’s pretty much indoor warning, there is word from a credible source Adrian might be replacing all of this with a 2001-130 which is unfortunate.

@@matthewwalker8197 I didn’t report it because I wasn’t really thinking about it while I was there. It’s a small town though and that Sirex is very noticeable so I’m sure they know it failed

@@wigwagstudios2474 They have failures somewhat often. Their system isn’t the most reliable out there. So I highly doubt they’ll just up and replace anything since they’ve never done that in the past

This thing was Refurbished a while ago looking at the Condition so I doubt they would replace this.
