Talent has no boundaries. Music is universal and the only way to bond with people from different culture and language. Sadi ta culture ve ik, punjabi ma boli v ik.... sabda rab v ik..... Even if we can't unite, we can at least respect each other. We should learn from Europeans how to re unite even after a bad history... Excellent soul touching music.

This is music without borders. It defies geography of demarcation. Sufi music bridges the chasm between mortality and transcendence without making a fetish of the dogmatic paradigm of organised religion. Believer or non-believer, I also live outside my skin. Rocks, trees, the loam, the sky, the light, and moisture constitute the house I am---and the house I live in. There are no outsiders. They are my kith and kin.

My father too, like many others here migrated from Sialkot in Pakistan.I am a big lover of Sufi music and especially appreciate the fact that the lyrics have no religious or geographic boundaries. This is what I told my BIL few minutes back that Indian young singers are taking to Bollywood and tours instead of "Riaz" which they should be doing at around 20yr. All these channels and singing competitions are killing music and good singers. BTW what words and what singing!! Hats off to this great composition and the super versatile singers. Mesmerising voice of these brothers. Pakistan art is versatile and simply mind blowing. Great respect for all the gharana’s they have. Enough of all this hatredness which is spread since the time of partition. It’s all crap. Let’s live and share love and respect to each other. Also, I listen to this song everyday morning and evening it’s so soothing and just gives so much of peace while listening to it. Simply hats off to all of them.

The translation is Bow your head even further down (in humility) Fakir, bow your even head further down (in humility) Bow your head further down (in humility) Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) There is great pleasure in holding the head1 high in arrogance But, that pleasure will never be fulfilling, Fakir Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) One day you will be bestowed with His presence Bow your head further down (in humility) Oh Lord, if only someone could understand the deliberations of my heart I am a seeker who seeks nothing I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another No one can unravel the secrets within me I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another No one can unravel the secrets within me I am a wanderer Come along, come with me Bow your head further down (in humility)

When I heard this song for the first time, I had feelings of different things happening one by one from the very start to the very end. Then I heard it again and again just to confirm if the feelings are real, and indeed they were. The very beginning of this song was clearly an attempt to hypnotize the listener, make them look deeper into themselves, until one gets in unison with their very soul (that's when you learn to be even more bowed down). And just when you thought it is over, there comes the realization of how unique your soul is, full of its own mysteries, that if you start seeking the key behind each of these mysteries, it will take your entire lifetime and you won't yet be finished. Because the mysteries of my soul are possibly infinite. And in the end, it helps you to slowly get back, calmly and beautifully. This song is possibly one of the best to present in front of you, the real journey of life. Thank you Ali Noor, I love you! Thank you Ali Hamza, I love you! Thank you, the Sagar-Veena Maestro Noor Zehra, I love you! And last but not the least, thank you Coke Studio Pakistan, I love you!

Rudra veena ... WoW !!! Why can't we fuse our divided cultures like this music ?.
@DashUncle10 жыл бұрын
We can fuse. Only once we realize why it divided in the first place. The day "Bhed Bhao" is finished, Sub-continent will be one.

Reza Khan very good you want to be one again. The people who made it like this had some very good reasons for division
@jazbaedil10 жыл бұрын
Reza Khan No idea what Bhed Bhao is, but we r divided because we all have some weird sense of pride, and that never let us think like humans.

Guys dont forget to appreciate the awesome percussionist Louis J Pinto, AKA Gumby. How beautifully he had elevated the rhythm matching the gradually peaking vocals. Awesomeness.

Hatred is something that's cultivated in us by our governments or some hate preachers. Its not some thing you are borned with. Hate is a negative energy - Kick It Love is a positive energy - Keep it Let the love flourish in our hearts through music. Love to the whole world from a very humble person :)
