A 5 String version would rock, & you should also have 5 String Upright Basses, 5 String Violas, 5 String Cellos, etc. I love these Rubner Machine Heads, much easier to turn? I hope they come out OK.

Ebay sells these Machine head tuners:www.ebay.com/itm/202228591207?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338765313&toolid=10001&customid=42fdcd6e26cd54f34dc5a93a3b1ae98d & they should make a 5 String version too. It's basically an improved version of the old 19th Century Machine Head tuners for Violin, Viola, & Cello. The screws don't damage the scroll when you replace the friction pegs w/ these machine heads because they're actually wood screws.

@@horainstruments1951 Rubner should make Geared tuners for 5 (and more) String Violins (as well as more bowed instruments) because tuning gets easier & w/ a string winder stringing is more neat.
