(just recently subscribed though :P ) I was wondering though how do you punch the stitching holes for the clip. do you measure it then punch one side from the outside then the other side from the inside? Google translate used to try and make it easier for you! これは水ですね！ 水でコバの毛羽立ちを抑えて処理するか、染料で毛羽立ちを抑えて処理するかの違いなのですが、仕上がりも工程も変わらないので、お好きな方で大丈夫だと思います^ ^

そうですね！ 厳密に言うとフルベジタブルタンニンなめしで繊維密度の高い革であれば水でもコバを磨けます。ぜひ試してみてください^ ^
