The reason you had trouble getting balls over to the left is because you yourself were over on the left, the balls bounce off you at an angle based on where on your paddle they hit, if they hit middle its a neutral bounce but if they hit the right side of your paddle then they bounce to the right, and since your paddle was off on left side the balls were more likely to hit the right side, and when they did hit the left side and go left they were too close to the wall so they immediately went right again

This game is surprisingly complex in your ability to make decision, and it also feels like every ball has it pros and cons- even your beloved ghost ball. In those situations where the blocks are right in front of you, the ghost ball is actually a lot worse. A regular ball will rapidly bounce between you and an up-close brick, but the ghost ball will go all the way to the back and cause you to take damage in that specific situation. I think it’s really neat.

Super interesting! I think it would be really fun if they added more unique artifacts along with stat stuff. For example.. on brick hit, on paddle hit, on brick destroy, etc. And have other stuff like burn damage, vulnerability, or knockback. Maybe even having them apply to each ball separately so you can actually have unique balls.

This game has to be the most fun and absurd variation on Breakout I've ever seen! I really love that it constantly generates multiballs (having a lot of them onscreen was always the most fun part of any breakout game), and I love that it also doesn't punish you for losing balls. What a fantastic twist on the genre!

That had to be the fastest 3 seconds I've ever seen when you froze the bricks, looked more like 1 second to me

I think you should pick +xp and magnets as soon as possible, and catch all xp at the cost of losing balls.. as far as I understand, there’s a ceiling on upgrades, but you can keep taking “bombs”, freezes and whats most important, points.

Im of the opinion that they should add a mode that is just made to be bonkers, where you dont have a limited amount of upgrades (it literally is just for the sake of it being more chaos)

I think homing and boomerang are mutually exclusive (once you've taken one the other is unavailable), same for dbl damage and combo. Honestly I think there might be an optimum order for the between wave upgrades (for me if available: magnet, 4th slot, reroll, then heals or shield). I am also a massive believer in xp gain multiplier on the level up options.

Brick breaker is a very difficult game to play really well. Im the case of ball movement it is dependent on a few factors like ball direction, paddle direction, where on paddle the ball hits. The only difference with launching is the ball gains a very small amount of speed falling in a pradicticatble pattern.

I tried to create a topic on Steam, but it didn't allow me to, so I'll do it here (and hope that somebody paste this there): Merge / Fusion Balls A very unique mechanic, that only appears every 15 waves, where you merge 2 balls together at a cost of losing a ball slot. This type of unique balls can only be acquired by merging them. Ex.: Split + Explosive = Cluster Homing + Phantom = Ethereal Missile
@DreamersDragon10 ай бұрын
Combining phantom with explosives would definitely be broken
