😁 I thought they would at least mention Thalia when they're asked about their knowledge on Mexican idol/celeb, pero natauhan ako agad & realized that even Vinci the eldest hyung who was born in 2000 would surely not have any core memory of the Mexican invasion in the Philippines which only lasted up to early 2000s, by 2003 via Meteor garden we switched to Asian entertainment na, even I, was also very young at the time na sikat sila Thalia & other Mexican celebs, kumbaga naririnig ko na lang sila namemention from time to time dahil sa mga Philippine remakes ng Mexicanovelas

The most famous mexican in the Philippines is Thalia but that was back in the 90’s, everybody knows her and her telenovelas but these boys were born in the 2000’s so it’s normal that they don’t know her. Maybe they know Selena Gomez, Becky G or Demi Lovato but probably they don’t know that they are mexican-americans. I like mexican music and the first mexican artists that come to my mind are Thalia, Luis Miguel, and Lucero 😅
