These fights are so much better: A. with permanent override (+ some other perks that allow you to repair machines and stuff) B. if you override them without damaging or alerting them (but if you can't sneak up on them, ropecaster is your friend)

What does Defensive mode do? And can you manually control overrided machine to attack the selected target?

Defensive mode basically means if you select it the machine won’t go out of its way to attack another machine and u cant normally control an overridden machine but there’s a special arrow that u can shoot a creature with and the creature u shot the arrow on will be attacked by ur overridden machine wich works with defensive and offensive

You need to go back to the base and craft the overrides themselves

Got a question in the base were you make all the overrides after the skydriffter there is one more slot with a question mark “unknown machine” I finished all the cauldrons. Which machine is this? I have no clue

It's the same for me and it has a gold/yellow color then the others like legendary maybe its for a DLC and they forgot to remove it

I don't get it. I have the plowhorn override but it never prompts me to do it. I don't have a bristle back one and I was able to override them for a side quest. Can someone explain why?

U can only override the aggresive version from Hephaestus. The friendly once are just farmers that can’t be overriden

Go to the base, you have to purchase the overide at the hacking station by the work bench
