The PS4 PRO holds up pretty well with this game ( I own one ) even on release. The only difference between PS4 PRO and PS5 is the frame rate and loading times are much better and graphics obviously texture-wise looks a little cleaner. Anyway, the developers did a fantastic job on all platforms given that the game still runs decent even on the base PS4. I've already beaten Zero Dawn, such an incredible game. Wanting to get a PS5 soon. Great video comparison btw. 😎👍

The 60fps on ps5 is what I like. I have ps4 pro, got it on black friday 2 years ago for 220$. Much better than Ps4 in terms of loading. Here, it seems like the diff for ps4 to ps4 pro is big, and the diff in FPS from ps4 pro to ps5 is double, but the detail? I'm not sure. I don't even want to buy a ps5 feels like the library is not anywhere near what ps4 was. Also, being a pc gamer with a 2080 super (waiting to see what's after 3080/90), they brought HZD to pc, so I'll wait it out unless this goes to really cheap for some reason, which I'm sure it won't.

Started playing on ps4 pro yesterday. Played for 8 hours on 4k tv and so far it's very good (even though some textures could be cleaner in ps5 along with 60fps)

You need to remember that this video failed to explain what video mode they were using for the PS4 Pro. In HFW, there is an option for Quality or Performance. Given that this was being run at 1800p instead of 1080p, you would be seeing a solid 60fps on performance. I happen to know this because I am currently playing through HFW on my PS4 Pro on performance mode at 60fps.

Those extra 30 fps help out tremendously imo I bought this before I had a pro and a PS5 just the slim and since it was always capped at 30 then playing at 60 fps on the PS5 is night and day different one thing I wish they did since this is a demanding and high impact full game is make it 90 or 120 if possible that would've been dope!

a solid 60fps on a low latency screen is a must have and more than enough unless you are playing E sports. linus did a test with the team and no one could tell the difference between 60fps and 120 fps. but it sounds good when you brag about your system.

PS5 doesn't seem to be as much of an upgrade from PS4 as the PS4 was an upgrade from the PS3. I have a PS5 and I like it but, it should almost be called the PS4 plus 2.0 or something. Maybe it can take advantage of the Unreal 5 engine.

Ps4 pro is still definitely the superior console, ps5 is in such a prototype phase that it really sucks, this coming from someone who owns both, I still prefer my pro anyway, ps5 storage is a fucking joke, have fun constantly deleting other games to make room, not to mention there's pretty much nothing to play on it, so until the ps5 pro comes out I would say just stick to your ps4s. Our brains and our perception is made so that we in real life don't take care about details and every single leaf. If you achive a level of that perception you are probably mad. I get it for PS4 Pro Owner, the difference between their console and the PS5 (graphic wise) is quite similar. As for myself I own a PS4 standard and personnaly I found there is a good gap between this console and the PS5 though especially in 4k mode, the PS5 stole the show here. Really looks magnificent. With the PS4 you notice there's a kind of haze surrounding everything in the graphics and it affects the graphics definition but kudos to Guerilla games for releasing that really promising game in a last generation console this is quite something! Looking forward playing this game on my future PS5.

There's hardly a difference. Every gen. Before this there's a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE going from ps1 to ps2 or ps2 to 3 ppl would look at the screen and INSTANTLY know which one is which. I've had so many of my friends say "dude there's a big difference between ps4 And 5" so I say OK let's test that and then I load up a game I have for both consoles and say OK which one is which and regardless of whether they get the answer right or not they literally need to stare at the screen for a long time and need me to switch back and forth 20x times before they can make their decision. If you need that much time and you're that unsure which is which is there really a big difference? Like I said EVERY GEN. before this one the difference was night and day this time around every person I've tested this on can HARDLY tell which is which. This isn't a new gen. It's just an upgrade period I've never been so disappointed with a new Playstation as I have with 5 in my life. Bottom line is this is the least impressive jump ps has ever made of you own a ps4 pro is just not worth buying a ps5

i recently baught a ps slim just so i can play wipeout omega, the one game i cant play on any other system and looks like i never will be able to and for me its one of the best anti grav futuristic raceing games and people have tryed to copy it and fell short by a long way. but i also have a decent PC and i have HZD on the ps and on PC and the pc version is so much clearer and the veiw distance longer and the plants move when you go through them and it runs at a smooth 60 fps in 4k and yet the ps4 version still stands up well against it. for such a small machine it punches well above its weight.

I am very grateful that I can still live in this day and age. Due to the evolution of graphics, games are currently more advanced the quality is getting better, closer to real life. Whether it started from Game Tomb Raider 2103 (with cgi technology) and now there are other games like Horizon Forbidden West. Because I usually play PC games anyway. My pc with it's RTX 2070 super is already beating a ps5. As it stands currently I would only be compelled to buy a ps5 for it's exclusives. However, I don't expect much from it's graphics. I love my ps4 though I still have constant crashes during Skyrim and No Man’s Sky. However, my husband has just ordered me a ps5 so am hoping that there will be some improvement there. This video suggests that the graphics will certainly benefit and I am looking forward to playing several games that I used to play on a Windows P C (which I no linger own) such as Medieval Dynasty, Horizon and God of war. Bon j'ai pas un écran 4k mais je vois très bien la différence entre PS4 et PS4 Pro, je vais donc partir sur la PS4 pro qui se trouve aujourd'hui à 180€ max d'occasion, ma PS4 FAT m'ayant lâché je pense que je ne me fais pas rouler en prenant une PRO :)

I just realized in the horizon zero dawn logo the is one line in the middle representing part 1 of the game but in forbidden west's logo there are two lines representing part 2😳🤯

Save money for a PS5 there will be a huge difference in a few years,even months, there is no reason for buying a PS4Pro if PS5 uses PS4Pro games in backward retro compatibility. If you have no money do not worry because there is no PS5 to buy xDD

@@jorgehernandez208 ahhh este man jaja Simon igual aqui en Guatemala no hay pero a buen precio xD estan a 700 u 800 dolares por ejemplo yo estoy esperando a que se acabe mi membresia de ps+premium para comprar el PS5 con HFW Lastimosamente en LATAM muchas veces hay consolas pero a precios desorbitales :( y es peor si son de distributores oficiales. Nada mas aguntate amigo veras con el tiempo conseguiras un PS5 e incluso a buen precio Nada mas paciencia.

Well, that's it, I'm not buying a PS5 for 4K 30 fps. I'd rather stick with a powerful PC, which is much more expensive, but doesn't run games at 30 fps.

The PS4 boot time is innacurate since even if you swap out the HDD for an SSD the SSD in the PS5 will be 5-10X faster, and thats not even exaggerated
