It's awesome that you chose to post this on performance mode instead of resolution mode. That's exactly how I play it on my ps5. Shows how amazing the graphics are even without the boost to your graphics. I think most KZbinrs that post this game are scared to post videos without hdr or resolution mode turned on. Its simply not needed. Especially if you have a 4k TV. I changed my 4k samsung TV's graphic settings to vivid in order to make the colors pop and turned off hdr on my console. Best way to go in my opinion. Grass was greener and water was so clear. Awesome upload.

The Witcher 3 shits all over this WOKE MOB trash of a game. Texture pop in at every turn and cartoony graphics in 2022. I guess if you are a little kid you’ll like this game. For an adult it’s a hard pass.

Absolutely agree with you Vidush. I know Elden Ring has stolen the press from HFW, but to me HFW is the game of the year. In fact it's one of the very best videogames I've ever played. I don't see how the haters can dismiss this game by inferring that it's just another same old same old open-world game, when it's not. The studio spent considerable time and effort in creating the storyline and the production values and acting are incredible. You really feel a connection to all of the characters.

Elden Ring isn't even all that. I wish I bought horizon instead. The game plays just like dark souls 3 and has similar outdated audio. The graphics are mid. The open world has the same dungeons and caves with different layouts. The same structures like ruins and churches. The world looks dull other than the boss areas. The game has terrible performance on ps5 with texture pop, bad frame rate and draw disrances. The artstyle is the only thing I like about it. How the hell did it get a 10? Other games got reduced in score due to difficulty and bad performance, but this gets a pass

So sad that its only on playstation. They are very lucky to have this masterpiece. This is my favourite style of games. Good story, open world, science fiction, robot opponents, cool weapons, abilities, cool animals to ride on... I would get this immediately. We had playstation only titles coming to xbox later as well like hellblade senuas sacrifice, i have it and love it. Besides halo, forza horizon, gears of war, which i all own, they are all amazing games. But this one, Horizon Forbidden West, if it comes to xbox at some point or maybe the next horizon game hopefully... Ot might become my favourite game

I’m so confused man. Does games just look better when displayed on KZbin videos or what? Because this is not what the game looks like on performance mode. I have played on performance mode on my 4k tv and the graphics are nowhere near this clear. Everything is blurry and grainy especially when looking at far distance landscapes and things only tend to clear when you stop moving completely your character and camera but even then it’s like everything is grainy looking. I have seen a lot of people complaining about it on Reddit. And if you try to play on resolution mode your gaming performance drops drastically like even lower then 30fps sometimes. Its ridiculous you even have to sacrifice one or the other for any game. I just don’t get having the choices crappy gameplay or crappy graphics. Because that’s basically what your choosing each time for every game that has that option. Performance mode plays extremely well I’ll give you that but it does not look like this quality whatsoever. It’s not my tv or anything either. I have a new tv, almost 60inches and it’s 4k resolution and I play on performance mode as well and it never looks like this quality. It’s not like super horrible, but it’s not anywhere this nice either.

@@ItsdaFittySimp nah i have both and HFW has better graphics than ghosts for sure, especially the rock textures and water textures. there are way more variations in tree designs along with other vegetation too. the resolution just straight up looks better than ghosts. i really like the taller grass and flowers in ghosts but that’s about it.

@@Adrian956txs I tried, got a 4K TV... Didn't work, felt like 15 maybe 20fps... Never 30 though. I may let emotions fuel my comment though as I was disappointed that Forbidden West couldn't maintain 30FPS on Fidelity when Spiderman Miles Morales could do 60FPS RTX.
